  1. Cade throwing strikes but not close enough to the edge, got away with some. That was a meatball right down the pipe.
  2. The O's beat the Astros last night 12-0 despite Jesus Sanchez robbing a granny from Gunner and a 3-run shot which would have been Basallo's first hit. Robbing 2 homers in a game has to be a pretty rare feat and neither of these robberies were cheap, he got way up.
  3. I think we are 0 for our last 30 with the bases loaded can we please end that crap.
  4. Is the whole horsefeathers pen dead? Brown is giving us his C game and Craig just keeps trotting him out there.
  5. I ain't laughin
  6. Yeah I have no idea why anyone would be cheering for the Reds in that situation. Andruw Monasterio lmao. How.
  7. Good thing we wasted PCAs ab for whatever the horsefeathers that was, Carson.
  8. My god you'd think theyre facing Mason Miller. They cant do anything with this guy. 5 balls in play, none hard, and a strikeout.
  9. I think you are right. That's insane. They've had a lot of opportunities.
  10. That was just really stupid. Slider on the outside of the zone is your bread and butter to smack into to RF, Nico. Really if you had let it get deep and knocked a dribbler down the line we get 3 runs.
  11. And then they unleash an excuse-me swing on a pitch up and in and pop it up.
  12. They dont even work ABs anymore. The walks they get are pretty much unintentional intentional walks. The discernment and discipline from these hitters is mostly gone. Theyre swing happy, they chase, and whiff a lot, and pound a ton of pitchers pitches into the ground.
  13. He had a 985 OPS in July. It's basically been a 2 week slump.
  14. Since July 13, among Cubs with 70+ PA in that span, Busch's OBP ranks 9th. 9th. There is no reason to perpetuate the charade.
  15. Busch is hitting 195/259/442 as our leadoff guy. Stop the horsefeathers nonsense. He's not Schwarber. You basically tanked his season slotting him there and the offense has not been much better as a whole. The problem is that im not sure who should lead off. I hate the thought of Nico there. Happ wasn't getting it done either.
  16. This team wouldn't be in the playoff picture if it werent for PCA. I tend to pretty much give him an unlimited leash.
