  1. Bryant is going to hit a new level of offense and have his best season yet
  2. So excited for Urlacher's induction. He changed the game. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
  3. I went with the Sheffield waggle a lot. Before that I remember positioning my legs like Dawson used to.
  4. He would make more than that. 3.5 is just the savings of they cut him. With the injuries and PEDs, I find him the easiest cut of that group. Also, fyi on Sitton, they have to make the option within the first few days of the league year. Its an option and becomes guaranteed once taken. So they won't be able to play the FA market the same way as some of the other guys who have large unguaranteed portions. Freeman signed a 3/12 deal and has a 4m cap hit. I'm not gonna complain if we do cut him but I think when he's healthy he's one of the better ILB in the game. He can captain a defense and has a great nose for the ball. As depth I don't think we can do a lot better in terms of actual play on the field and he will be cheap. The suspension doesn't really deter me. Sucks that he got caught but there's not a lot of risk at that price IMO. Thanks for pointing that out with Sitton. I would absolutely pick up that option. Kyle's body is ravaged also and we have no idea what we will get from him. Cody had a poor year and has plenty of questions surrounding him as well. We can't guarantee the signing of anybody in FA so pick it up and keep the OL as strong as you can and hope to make it even stronger in FA.
  5. I would probably cut em all except for Massie, Sitton, and Freeman I understand we need to address and overhaul the OL in this offseason but I think we should keep the vets for depth. If we can sign Norwell then I say adios Sitton, but if not, I think his play on the field, albeit in limited availability, is worth the money. Massie improved quite a bit after like week 5 or 6 and ended the season on a decent run. Might as well see what you get out of a contract year, the RTs in FA aren't too appealing, and I'd rather not force a draft pick into a week 1 starter. I'm hoping Pace doesn't go OL in round 1, unless it's in a trade back. This is a decently deep draft for quality OL and we could bolster the unit with a couple mid rounders. Freeman is just too cheap to cut IMO. Gotta think he is capable of avoiding injury eventually and he's good depth/vet savvy IMO. I think Kwiatkoski is coming along very well and he and Trevathan make a good pair inside. Freeman backing them up for 3m is fine.
  6. Verlander and Cole are controlled for 2 years. They can slowly bring Whitley and Martes along and keep them around in case of injuries. I don't think they intend to trade him. He will only be 25 when those 2 are FA.
  7. I just don't feel like Yu wants to be a Cub Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
  8. They did well in that aspect FWIW. I imagine we are at the bottom in terms of major injuries to prospects in the last 5 years. But they missed out on the high ceiling arms in doing so. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
  9. What do you guys think of Edmunds if we stay put and he's there at 8? Talking about a guy who is very raw but is getting Urlacher comps for his size and athleticism combo, who can be deployed in many different facets within the defense, and will be 19 on draft day. Really rare specimen, but with plenty of risk.
  10. Among the 4 major sports Chicago had 5 All-Star selections for this year. I believe Kane was the only starter. I feel like this is the lowest total in quite some time. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
  11. Or like Veronica Beauregarde One big blue ball Violet Beauregarde That's right, knew it was another V name
  12. With TheoCo being the squirrels Or like Veronica Beauregarde One big blue ball
  13. Boras says MLB should step in and prevent teams from tanking. He says their intent to win should be treated similarly to the Black Sox. Some of the remaining FA are talking about holding their own spring training together. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
  14. I like Cain as a guy who can give you 8-9 WAR pretty comfortably over the next 3 years but I would be terrified of owing him 35m for his age 35 and 36 seasons. And a NTC, to boot.
  15. http://forum.brewerfan.net/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=36132&start=380 They're gonna turn on him so fast when he signs with the Twins Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
  16. He said zero relief pitchers will be ready to contribute from within the system by 2020. He doesn't even baseball.
  17. They're reporting that we likely can't get a 1st unless it's a 3 way trade and things are obviously a little more complicated when that's the case. I think it'll go down to the wire and I'm cool with that.
  18. Would you rather they maximize their value or simply move them to expedite the tank?
  19. The hell is this no dress shoes on the road horsefeathers for? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
  20. Yeah, me too. I finally got around to watching "I Am Chris Farley" last weekend and it really made me appreciate again how big of an impact he had in a short amount of time. There will never be another actor quite like him, and for that matter, where is the next generation of young comedy actors? It could just be that I'm just no longer in the target demographic and don't "get" today's comedy, but what happened to the comedy genre? There are only a handful of comedies I can think of over the past decade that were even worth watching. But I am clearly way off topic... I watched the Money Pit (hadnt seen it since I was a child) the other day and it's probably outside of the top 20 funniest movies of 1986 and yet it was still funnier than any movie I've seen released in the last couple years. It's really sad but at the same time there are plenty of really funny shows still.
  21. Really wish they'd swallow their whistles on those types of plays but you know the league wants to protect their players or something
  22. Stupid ass delay of game penalty changed everything. Jags need to keep focused.
  23. Got lucky and now our window is almost shut
  24. Absurd pace to this game Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
