  1. So how did he end up in L.A.?
  2. Quintero and Howard being added to Davis, and I think the former two are both higher ceiling prospects, is most of what's keeping me optimistic. Honestly I'll even give Hoerner props for looking better than I thought playing ML games this year. Between the minors being torn up and that it takes 3 of their bonuses to top Bryant's draft signing bonus, these guys are going to arrive faster than we'll be told to expect for maybe another year. I think Howard's up in like 2.5 and Quintero by 2023 or 2024 ---- Oh and this future hoss: Edit: ^^ That video is from XST 2019 and not this year, oops What did you see from Nico besides a low K rate? The batted ball stats were abysmal; he barely had a positive launch angle. He was a complete and utter disappointment for me.
  3. The last minute of that game was bonkers Not just for those teams, but for my fantasy teams as well. I had Josh Allen in one, and I was going against Hopkins in both. That play cost me wins in both leagues. Ugh. I lost by less than a quarter of a point to my Hopkins carrying opponent. All I needed was one more decent catch by ARob but then they tried that dumb horsefeathering screen pass and he lost yardage.
  4. I'm mostly of the opinion that at that age you shouldn't even have a license/be able to drive. It took us a couple years and several fender benders and semi-conscious episodes to finally wrest the car from my grandpa. Around the end of his 70s we knew we were sending a threat to public safety out on the road but he wasn't hearing it. Luckily he didn't hurt anyone. TLR looks like he's on deaths doorstep. Revoke his horsefeathering driving privileges.
  5. TEN DEF was an amazing pickup
  6. Whats that currently at anyway?
  7. What needs to happen for Lamar Miller to get a shot?
  8. The Titans D only has 7 sacks on the season. That could double today Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  9. Lmfao @ the very idea of the Mets ever becoming the city's marquee team Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  10. Very tempting to grab the TEN DEF for my fantasy team this weekend. I can see 5-6 sacks and at least a couple takeaways. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  11. Mustipher is possibly out as well Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  12. Nico didn't even do enough to win a bench job
  13. Yeah and they allowed a lot of runs above their average as well. Without him they are swept in embarrassing fashion. Friedman deserves a lot of praise for the way he's assembled the roster, high-end talent up and down. They have im counting 16 homegrown players, a handful of scrap heap finds, a few acquired through trade, but no big-ticket FA. Pollock is the only FA they paid more than 10m AAV to. Their farm is still loaded both in the short and long term. God we need player development on this level. I believe last year was a huge step in the right direction pitching-wise. But not enough high-end talent across the board.
  14. It really sucks that the Dodgers acquired and extended Mookie
  15. Get your ass on the phone and boost that OL, Ryan. We're almost surely a playoff team but a WC defeat waiting to happen yet again.
  16. DK Metcalf chasing down Budda Baker and preventing a 98 yd pick 6 was more impressive than the game Tyler Lockett had.
  17. Dave Roberts is amazing
  18. This era cannot be called anything but a smashing success. Not only did they win for the first time in anybody we know's lifetimes but they did it with a largely homegrown roster, players that we watched intensively throughout their development, and in which produced a handful of legit All-Stars and a couple superstars. It was more brief than I anticipated, sure. I too had dreams of a longstanding dynasty, and watching the player development stagnate, and falling behind in some of the league-wide trends was surprising. But this was by far the most fun I had watching the team in my lifetime.
  19. Kershaw has the highest ERA in history of any pitcher with 100+ playoff IP. Just nuts how hittable he becomes.
  20. So glad Arozorena is not in our division.
  21. Gotta pull for the Rays. However I'll be happy if Prior gets a ring.
  22. That Fuller hit. Just special. You don't often see CBs that are such sound and willing tacklers. Hes a bad mutha.
  23. Is Quinn going to be invisible for the next 3 years until we cut bait when his dead cap is *only* 6m?
