  1. Damn and Brothers had a nice roll going too
  2. How the hell did Javy inside-out that pitch like that. It was painted perfectly on the lower inside corner. In real time I thought it was off the plate.
  3. Thats kind of a huge deal. His approach changed.. I mean, he's put up fantastic numbers as the pull-heavy version, but over the last few years, it felt like he didn't even want to offer at most outside pitches unless he had 2 strikes, and then, it would be a very half-hearted swing. There is a massive gap over there that he needs to be taking advantage of a lot more often. There was clear intent and he was hunting in that area. Hope this is the start of something good this year for Bryant the oppo masher.
  4. White Sox threw a bone to 28 year old minor leaguer Yermin Mercedes and all he's done is start the year 8-8 with a HR. Looks like a fine DH. He's never had a below average stint at any minor league stop. He'll be fun to follow on the low.
  5. So you're saying we should expect more sac flies The wind added by the Cubs' routine torrent of swinging strikeouts might pump that horsefeathers up to hurricane force. But like, the kind that do no damage
  6. So you're saying we should expect more sac flies
  7. I really don't understand why we held on to Lauri and don't care about our PG position at horsefeathering all
  8. Comes as no surprise that the Cubs swung at the least amount of pitches in the zone across the league yesterday
  9. Maybe try not horsefeathering walking Gregory Polanco
  10. Get it together Kyle How tf do you walk Polanco
  11. Lindor just got 10/341 from the Mets What do we need to give Seager this winter? J/k there's no way the Dodgers don't lock him up right?
  12. Hope I can go to the game in Tampa
  13. Anyone ever used this offer if you don’t have T-Mobile or Sprint? A friend of mine and his wife both have T Mobile and he offered to let me use his wife’s subscription since they don’t need two. Do you just set up an email/password to log in? They seemingly don't lock down (which is a big surprise) on account sharing. I always let my brother use my account with no problem.
  14. Thanks for alerting me and inadvertently reminding me to check the app and get the Shell discount on gas.
  15. Go to 4/90 Hed be silly to turn that down IMO
  16. Almost 35 year old Carlos Santana just signed a 2 year, 17m deal after throwing up a .699 OPS last year and garbage defense since forever. Probably conflating posters around here, but all the people who wanted Nico to slug .300 every day because our pitching staff was built around ground balls has no problem dumping Rizz to pay a revolving door of fringe DH types to Roger Dorn ground balls and picks at first for the next few years. To be totally honest I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Is 3/60 or 4/80 insulting? We're talking about a guy with chronic back issues, who's on the back-9 of his career. A 3 year extension that runs through his age 35 season feels agreeable to me.
  17. I'd stand firm at 3/60. I think he should be happy with that. Maybe 4 years. Wouldn't want to go 5 or 6.
  18. Neck spasms This team cannot win with the version of LaVine for the last 5 games. Seems like that ankle is really hampering him.
  19. Can we trade Bryant for a soft-tossing UDFA SP from last year's draft?
  20. Oh wow, a former SS showed capability at 2B! Why is that a surprise to anybody?
  21. Let's not forget that Nico had a monster spring last season as well. But he got eaten alive when the games counted. They can keep working on his swing in a low pressure environment. Im for that. Sucks not having his glove though. Apologies; he had a big spring in 2019, not last season
  22. You don't think they're eyeing that extra year by keeping him down til May?
  23. Damn, that leaves PG and big man depth as 2 areas of weakness for the Bulls. We can get by with Sato and Coby for this season and still make the playoffs I think but we'll see. I mean after the top 3 seeds it's wide open in the East. I'm an NBA idiot, but how is this team not at least playing playoff basketball? And it sounds like they'll have some cap space. Not necessarily max cap space, but that can always be engineered if the opportunity arises. Well their bigs suck and they have no PG either With last year's version of Zach they'd have about 10 wins, if that.
