    I never felt that good about the Wright selection so him sucking is just annoying me a ton. Our offense is in big trouble if that OL continues like this. If the OL does belly-up and teams dominate TOP, our defense will get worn out.

    Cody opt out, trade for Rooker (Alcantara probably in play, I assume they would want Brown or Horton), sign Flaherty, Robertson, Scott, Minter Plumb every inch of the possible upgrades at C (incl Rushing and other young prospects), but I don't think there's a lot that can be done there. PCA - CF Happ - LF Seiya - RF Rooker - DH Busch - 1B Swanson - SS Paredes - 3B Nico - 2B Amaya or addition Steele, Flaherty, Shota, Taillon, Assad and crew This is a lot of $ to spend on a pen from where I traditionally stand, but I am a huge believer in Robertson and I see LHRP as the staff's biggest weakness, especially if Little doesn't rebound.

    You don't see any flashes, be honest. They've been absolute dog horsefeathers. Poles tarnished a lot of the good work he did by the total crap that is the OL. Passing on Stroud to gain some more picks is looking like a huge miss. and I say that as someone who was all about trading 1.1.

    Bowden Francis has had 2 no-hit bids broken up in the 9th inning in his last 4 starts. First pitcher since Nolan to have that happen in a season, let alone a few weeks time. Googled how many times Nolan had that happen in his career and 5 is the answer. That man was simply insane, nearly had 12 no-hitters. I'd love to know how his stuff graded.

    Now in a stretch of 150 PA/quarter's season worth of a 149 wRC+ with a sub-20 K rate and a 91 EV. Just immensely surprising in-season development. I have a hard time believing he won't be a leage-average hitter, at least, and feel deep down he will be more in the 120 range in his prime. Potential for being a top 10 position player by fwar is definitely there.
