  1. Not having a QO, he will have a ton of suitors, and will be right up Jed's alley. I wouldn't be surprised if the Dodgers sign him though.
  2. With him not getting a contract and showing up to camp overweight it's starting to feel like he's sandbagging. Really disappointing. I thought he would be the perfect security blanket for a rookie QB and be open all day.
  3. I would see if Cody is open to a trade and put Seiya back in RF is he is. i'd be looking to trade him for a power arm leverage RP type or 2. I'd be willing to move Triantos to sweeten the pot.
  4. Trade for Vlad, Tucker, or Rooker, and sign Flaherty then.
  5. Watch him get McGwire'd to 60/60 lol
  6. How the heck did he yank that pitch like that and holy horsefeathers at the 150 ft ricochet. What a shot. That may have been an inside the parker regardless.
  7. Damn he trumped the KB full house
  8. I'd bet the % of NFL fans owning Prime accounts is pretty high, no?
  9. Should have left Neris to rot in March 😀
  10. Jed being in his last year and 5 years removed from the playoffs, 7 years since a real playoff berth, should be the impetus to make major moves. Also they can't field all of those prospects unless they trade some MLB players. They should try to move some of them for established stars.
  11. Reduce the chase and be more selective in the zone and take more walks. I also feel like sometimes he almost jumps when he swings and it's probably hard to hit a ball that hard when your feet arent sound. A steeper bat path and more intent behind his swings on meatballs would probably produce a better ISO but would also result in a lot of can-of-corn flyballs, affecting his BA. I don't know, I feel like he's too well-built a dude to have such weak contact, though.
  12. We're people really bitching? It was inconsequential, we laughed about it and moved on.
  13. OCs coming in and pushing young productive TEs out the door. Hmm sounds familiar.
  14. But they do. They have a group of position players well in the top-half of fwar, they have 2 well above-average SP, a couple MORP, and more on the way, with a stable of power arms. They don't need a major overhaul. I'd like for them to finish as far above 500 as possible.
  15. Playing out the string and potentially losing series to the Rockies and A's back to back lol
  16. Hmm, tough ball, but Belli probably should have made a play. I guess too worried about the wall.
  17. For those unaware, Happ's HR last night put him atop the leaderboard for fastest pitches to hit a HR on in the pitch-tracking era. He is the first to HR off of a pitch 103+. Also cool is he became one of 7 hitters to have multiple HR on 100+ mph pitches, as he did so against Helsey earlier this year. Both came in 3-4 losing efforts in which he homered twice 😭 I think more hitters should look oppo on these terrifying pitches and let the velo do the work with a nice easy swing. I think too often hitters go up there trying to get out in front.
  18. Other than having the 1st overall pick there is nothing compelling about this matchup for non-fans of those teams.
  19. Approach-wise they are the same hitter. Scrappy guys trying to punch it to RF half the time because they have no ability to lift and pull.
  20. OTOH he has a 400 xwoba and a ton of crimson in areas where they usually portend great things going forward. To do what he's done in Oakland is insane. Statcast says he'd have 44 HR as a Cub. I might be out of pocket with this but to me he's the next Nelson Cruz. Plug him in the lineup and get a top 10 hitter and pay about 40M for his prime? Bye, Kevin, Jordan/Brown, best of luck.
  21. To me he's basically Theriot. His bread and butter is the line drive to RF and everyone knows he is hunting that outside pitch to punch through. Most teams aren't scared of it and they invite him to try without trepidation. A lot of those BIP have found gloves this year. The power is never gonna come. Power comes with intent and Nico doesn't intend to do damage. It would be great if he could get more doubles down the LF line.
  22. Ugh I recently cancelled my sub. Can you post all of them please?
  23. Hell KB and Javy's time may be up soon too!
