I'm completely with Kyle. If we see signficant forward progress from our 2nd and 3rd year defensive players then I can see the defense matching the budding reputation. If they are just largely JAGs, I can see them being just average. And that can significantly alter the entire team outlook. Guys like Gordon, Brisker, Dexter - if they turn in good seasons, the defense should be stout,
The offense could easily get upended by the OL. Wright needs to be an absolute stud, IMO. There's more dynamic players than we've had since the early Trestman days but if Davis and Jenkins can't stay on the field, Wright is mediocre, etc., then it will be tough sledding. Pass pro has me on edge. Poles' bread-and-butter was supposed to be the trenches and I would say that is where I am the most concerned on both sides of the ball.
