  1. Getting inundated with curveballs and not doing horsefeathers with them
  2. That was so incredibly predictable. Can anyone on this team hit a change up? The book is clear; 90% secondary pitches and sprinkle in some 4 seams here and there.
  3. It is entirely obvious that he is hard to pick up/deceptive as hell. Nobody has hit him.
  4. Have you seen his EVs? He obviously has close to elite power. He just needs to work on getting the right launch angle band and he will take off in the "power" dept.
  5. Our leadoff hitter is hitting 156/269/178 in hit last 50 PA
  6. A 6 pitch inning. Do you guys need naps? These aren't even painted pitches. He's throwing it over the heart of the plate and they just can't do anything with them.
  7. It sounds like Caleb still has horrible ball placement. Understanding the playbook and all of the different ins and outs of the offense, obviously that's going to take time. But I hate hearing that he's still sailing passes, not even close on a wheel route. Johnson and Co. have their work cut out for them.
  8. I am not sure if they have another comeback in them. The bats look dead.
  9. Does Cabrera have good stats vs the Reds lineup?
  10. Alexis Diaz just got traded to the Dodgers
  11. Shaw's rebound has been really exciting but there is still plenty of cause for pause. His BABIP and EV scream a lot of luck. Now, his all-fields approach portends well to a high BABIP but not .480. And there has still been a fuckton of weak contact, as his EV is 84.5 since his return. Regardless, I believe he will end up at league average or better and he looks like the best glove at 3B without a shred of doubt. You have to love that he brings another versatile, fast, weapon to the offense. Taillon just gets sloppy/lazy. Too many pitches catch the heart and not enough live in the shadow, to the eye. I haven't looked at the maps. He just doesn't always seem dialed in. Seiya is avoiding the slump so far this year. He's been really consistent. If Gallagher has a couple more starts like that he'll join Wiggins in AA. He appears to hide the ball really well. His action is long and whippy, but the ball emerges out of nowhere from over-the-top. Rojas is friggin killing it. He needs a promotion.
  12. I can't remember the last time I was this unenthusiastic after a sweep. The offense was absolute trash in this series.
  13. Jacob Wilson now hitting 350 with a 918 OPS and 13:12 BBK. Wow.
  14. Especially because he was the last to leave the dugout.
