They've also been very fortunate with injury luck on their stud pitchers. All of the pitchers we develop end up getting hurt.

I'm not even mad about last night's game. That was the flukiest horsefeathers. This whole road trip has just been unlucky for the most part. These things have a way of evening themselves out so get the bad luck out of the way for now and hopefully the luck changes in Sept/Oct. Webb was due to regress. Get the bullpen slump out of the way now too.

I don’t think they’ve decided yet but if he could open or even a whole time through the order and follow that up with Brown that could be awesome.

In all seriousness I still have faith in Gausman as a playoff starter. But I think having Brown, Steele, and Cabrera back will give you a lot of options with openers and playing each playoff game based on matchups.

I predict no hit through 6 but with a high pitch count so they'll be forced to take him out

He looks like he's trying too hard. Like he's out there trying not to make a mistake instead of just playing ball. He almost botched the throw to 1B too. I think Counsell just needs to take him off high leverage until he settles down. We got Palencia back and potentially Shelby Miller or Cabrera to take his spot until he proves he can handle it.

Looked like he was screaming and jumping up and down while pointing to 3rd. Also might have been a play on 2nd during the last hit but nobody covered. I'm still pissed off about the game. One of the most frustrating losses of the year back to back.
