So he started using a heating pad and strecthing after the 1st inning because he knew the Cubs would have a comfortable lead the next inning and he could come out early.

Repeating the same thing over and over again doesn't make it true. Swanson has a .977 fld% in the playoffs for his career and a .980 fld% in the regular season.

It's the playoffs, every team is good and any team can beat you. All it takes is for an opposing a pitcher or hitter to get hot for a series and your season can be over. I stopped wishing we could face a certain team after 2015 when I thought the Cubs had an easy path against the Mets. Arrieta was having his historic 2nd half and Soler was hot in the NLDS. We were undefeated against the Mets in the regular season but Daniel Murphy got hot and we got swept. Just win games and let the chips fall where they may.

Brewers will just call up some random 28 year old career minor leaguer and he will become the best closer in the league.

I don't get the Tucker hate, what did he do? Why is he getting boo'd and everyone shrugs their shoulders at everyone else who's in a slump.

I still refuse to believe the Brewers are the best team in baseball. This 3 game slide has to be the start of a hard regression. RIGHT!?!??! RIGHT!?!?!

A win today puts the Cubs at basically 4 games back because they win the tie breaker. 4 games back with 4 weeks to go is not impossible. Just keep winning and see what happens.
