    My scouting report after seeing Hartshorn in person last night is he is baaaaad in RF. Gave up a couple hits with absolutely horrible routes. Almost like he didn't even see the ball at all it was that bad.

    When the offseason started I wanted Cease, Imai, and Cabrera. I had no interest in Bregman because of his age, declining bat speed and he was coming off an injury. I probably completely overreacted when they missed on Imai haha. I was hopeful and willing to give them the benefit of the doubt when they signed Bregman but oof, he’s who I was worried about. I don’t think he’s gonna be much better than what you see now. A good defender who hovers around a league average bat with no pop.

    He did, but Jed should have been more aggressive knowing SP was the biggest team need. I don't even think they were even linked to Cease other than just checking in. What was the big infatuation with an aging 3B with declining bat speed coming off an injury? Sign a horsefeathers ace.

    They should have never signed Bregman. If they were going to sign one big contract it should have been Cease. I'd rather have Cease and either given Shaw/Ramirez a chance or traded for Arenado.

    If you really wanna upgrade the offense we could use a better DH. It's not gonna happen and I'm not suggesting it but if you're looking for a trade that doesn't involve a starter, a Contreras and Chapman deal from the Red Sox would have been fun. But they're probably buyers now after winning 14 in a row.

    You can't assume a catcher can maintain good offense for years down the road. Look at Raleigh and Rutchsman

    I used to have main character syndrome when I was younger. Not smack someone upside the head bad but the type of person who would say something if I saw something I didn't agree with. One day some lady parked her car in the middle of the crosswalk as I was about to cross the street so I told her "This is a cross walk, you shouldn't be parking here" She kindly responded "I'm sorry I just have to let my mom out of the car because she's in a wheelchair, it will only be a minute" That's when I realized I need to STFU and mind my own business. The world doesn't need me to speak up to minor things that don't hurt anyone else in the grand scheme of things. You never know what anyone else is going through.

    Sounds like he's already pre-injured and almost gives up 2 HRs/9 so he'll fit right in.
