    I would put the blame more on Berti than Swanson . Even if Swanson gets that ball it’s most likely an infield hit . If Berti makes a routine play , Mccutchen never gets to the plate there .

    It seems like every game the other teams gets a much larger strike zone than the Cubs . Davis should have never reached base and Skenes is getting 3 ft off the outside corner to righties .

    Rough loss with Skenes waiting . Likely a series loss . I would have taken my chances with Amaya over Berti

    Would have to think it’s Roberts going down . I think it makes sense . Was thinking about this move after yesterday ‘s game .

    It turns out that the Cubs had a deal in place to aquire Luzardo , but decided not to do it , after the medical review .

    Bullpen was nails those last 3 IP. Took the season series against LA . Took season series against Dbacks and tied with SD . Things don’t get any easier as they get Luzardo on Friday and he has been dominant so far .

    Gage Workman did his best to lose them this game by himself . Please Counsell don’t put him at 3B again .

    That last pitch was a strike , but this umpire is giving the Dodgers every close pitch on the black and off the plate . He horsefeathers sucks

    Yeah , I think the Workman experiment at 3B should be over . He looks terrified every time a ball is hit towards him .

    3 costly errors . One againts the Padres , one againts the Dbacks and that one . He looks overwhelmed tbh and he is supposed to be a great defender .

    Okay I looked about the tiebreakers and I think in the case of the Cubs and Padres the tiebreaker goes to the team hat has the best record in their division . Cubs ( Central and Padres west . If someone can check on this .it would be nice

    I was going to comment on the tiebreakers , I see rcal touch on it . With that said the have a question about the tiebreaker with SD . They split 6 games and they both scored 25 runs . Who gets the tiebreaker if needed ?
