    Yeah , I think if Happ takes an il trip , Ballesteros to DH makes sense . They can’t continue giving Turner these abs in that scenario . I wonder how long they will wait with him ? With that said I think Alcantara will be up in such scenario

    Cubs organization simply isn’t good with relief arms . The reliever that everybody says is their best is walking over 5 guys per inning while his k rate has gone down and HRs up . . They don’t have one single reliever that I feel comfortable giving the ball to in a tied or 1 run game .

    Kaplan is hearing Horton will come up Saturday . If true the 40 roster move will be interesting . I don’t see an obvious DFA candidate . Do they give up on Pearson ?

    I think the best way to go would be to have Taillon / Boyd / Rea go againts the Mets this weekend . Have Horton make his next start at AAA , stretch him out a bit more ( Hopefully in a dominating game ) and bring him up next week .

    Ok , so now that I see the next turn in the rotation would be the Mets in NY , I don’t think Horton is coming up for that one .

    That didn’t looked like a cramp to me . Cade Horton is coming up to take Shota’s spot would be my guess .

    I would put the blame more on Berti than Swanson . Even if Swanson gets that ball it’s most likely an infield hit . If Berti makes a routine play , Mccutchen never gets to the plate there .

    It seems like every game the other teams gets a much larger strike zone than the Cubs . Davis should have never reached base and Skenes is getting 3 ft off the outside corner to righties .
