    And then have less to offer for other things we need If we lose Ramirez for months, tell one thing we'll need more than a starting 3rd baseman? I'm not saying I wouldn't do it. I'm saying it still hurts us because now we have to use resources on something else

    The worst part is waiting to find out what's up, and we'll probably have to wait until at least tomorrow to find out. This feels a lot like when Lee broke his wrist in 2006.

    I think it's becoming more and more clear that 2008 was the year. It's all downhill now and will continue to be that way with the aging players and bad contracts.

    oh come on. ibanez ws a 37 year old .830 OPS corner outfielder with terrible defense. don't act like it was some stupid decision to pass on him because he's been awesome for the first month. and lol at the abreu comment. he has 5 xbh's total so far, and none of them are homers. he's hitting a flukey .343 and still only has a .799 OPS. when that average drops back to normal levels, his overall numbers are going to look really really bad, especially for a guy with really bad defense. mmm...you must have not read my responses on this signing of bradley before it WAS a stupid decision, and i guarantee you that he will have better numbers than milton at the end of 2009... so you knew before the season that he was suddenly going to go from mediocre to awesome?

    i'm sure darron sutton is devastated but yeah, this is ridiculous. like it's melvin's fault that the roster is atrocious

    I agree, I dont even understand why they are so picky on this. Has there been an injury to a goalie that could have been prevented by blowing a quick whistle in that situation? Dexter is the worst at it... maybe someday he'll find bleach... i dont understand any of this

    I like how Lou waits until we finally are getting things going and are on a season high winning streak before he decides to just forfeit a game. Awesome.

    ok sidney....not sure what that has to do with anything, but okay. i guess im just pissed about the fact that the hawks clearly should be undefeated this season if not for 96.57 percent of the goals against them being due to fake penalties
