  1. Funny how we can waste a roster space on Gathright as Ramirez is injured and we have no backup 3B.
  2. 2 more walks tonight
  3. The fact that Miles can't even play 3B makes his contract that much more embarrassing. He is literally worthless.
  4. That way we can actually have a guy out there who can at least play a major league 3B even if he's sucking at the plate. Fontenot is completely worthless at the plate and he is not a third baseman, period. He just cost Lilly 4 runs because he thought he was playing second. The fact that we have a payroll this huge and zero depth is a joke.
  5. I haven't been able to watch the first period.... who t getting outplayed? I know the Hawks are up 2-0 but it says they're being outshot 15-7. What's the deal?
  6. Oh, no it's not. Everyone in their lineup will hit over .300 like they are now. Their team ERA is bound to remain at 3.50 for the remainder of the season. That's really good, but then I expect nothing less of players exposed to LaRussa and Duncan. I just wonder how they failed to do that last year. You mean when they won 86 games in an awesome division? Yes, that's exactly what I mean. At their absolute best, with guys like Wellemeyer, Lohse and Looper carrying a heavy load, they were still worse than the 2007 Cubs. Huh? The 07 Cubs won 85 games in a terrible division. The 08 Cards won 86 games in a stacked division.
  7. I read somewhere during the offseason that Braun's goal for the upcoming season was to be more patient and draw more walks. It's too early to tell how legit this new Braun is, but so far he's walked 11 times in 68 bats. Not really a point to this post, but he's going to be a very scary hitter if he keeps this up.

  9. Good luck Chad. Time to make Hendry look worse than he already does. before the season started you kept saying we should dump gaudin so we could keep patton
  10. def the most uninteresting of the 8 first round series
  11. dempster didn't just have one bad start. he's just been not good.
  12. holy crap did you see walker's finger? disgusting. loved the reaction from the chicks behind the bench
  13. it was only a matter of time. these 2 power plays have been awesome
  14. lol sarich they're scoring on this pp
  15. This- Combined with this- Make it sound like Aramis is likely headed to the DL
  16. You mean for the fraction of the season that Ramirez will probably be out
  17. Didn't look like a big deal
  18. Yeah it's early and this is small sample sie stuff, but it's worth noting how disastrous Hendry's offseason moves have been so far. Bradley- Has already been hurt for over half the season, has gotten suspended (questionable, but still brought it on himself), and has gone .043/.267 /.174 Gregg- garbage Dempster- So far has been back to his sucking ways. I thougt when the deal was made that it was a huge waste of money and Dempster has done nothing to change my mind. He looks awful Miles- .100/.182/.100 Heilman- Has been alright, but he's walking a ton of guys like last season and hasn't missed a lot of bats. I think he'll be okay Trading DeRosa (without even getting a major league reliever) and signing Bradley at the same time looked ridiculous at the time and it's already costing the tame. And why, so he could save money to afford Aaron Miles and Kevin Gregg? It's 2 weeks into the season and what everybody knew would happen is already happening and already hurting us. BTW..... Wuertz- 7.2 IP, 2 ER, 7 H, 0 BB, 9 K So yeah, I know it's really early and nothing is proven, but it's still worth noting how much fail has happened with Hendry's moves so far.
  19. I wasn't even saying anything negative. I was just asking if you had heard it somewhere, as the title implied. Relax.
  20. im excited about thomas again
  21. http://stlouis.cardinals.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20090423&content_id=4400106&vkey=news_stl&fext=.jsp&c_id=stl No I'm aware that he injured himself, but nobody has said anything about an ACL yet. That's why I asked if he had heard something or if he was just speculating.
