    the key is that it's a one year deal. if you have money leftover and have nothing else to spend it on, you might as well. there's not really any risk involved with a one year deal. this is why it's hilarious that aaron miles got a 2 year deal.

    His last 4 years outside of Coors... 2009 - .909 2008 - .892 2007 - .860 2006 - .819 I'm seeing a trend. yeah, madd dogg is just looking bitter. there's no doubt that holliday is a great player. he's not as good as his numbers while in colorado, but i think his overall 2009 numbers are pretty accurate

    Seriously... those guys have 2 starters at like 5 different positions. Beltre + Lowell Scutaro + Lowrie Youkilis + Kotchman Martinez + Varitek 4 OFs (Drew Ellsbury Cameron Hermida) Not to mention, Ortiz tying up the DH slot just about every day. a lot of the guys you just named suck
