    I'm honestly trying to figure out who benefits from this. I know Selig's been pushing really hard for this, which indicates there's some support for regulation by the owners. But, which ones? Large market teams aren't going to like this. Small market teams seem like they would favor some limits, but as was discussed earlier, the Pirates, Royals and Rays have been among the biggest draft spenders (and the most will to go well overslot). This really seems to only level the playing field for bad (stupid) owners of small market teams. So, Jeff Loria and...? This is not good for baseball. Why aren't we working on refining our practices in international scouting instead? We're talking human rights violations at worst and questionable ethics at best.

I thought the Assistant GM would do more of the working side by side with the GM and the Assistant to the GM was the bitch boy to get Jed his coffee. Hearing what Shiraz is going to be doing though it sounds like Randy Bush is going to become the bitch boy. I'm curious what role he has and if soon he will just end up resigning. Maybe they should just send him to work in Mesa and be "Assistant GM in charge of special projects". Bitch boy? Dude.
