  1. That says (friendly). They are (friendly) on youtube. Mod edit: leave something to the imagination
  2. YES, I knew there was an antitrust violation to be found here. This is really good news. Now if only they could get them to stop being assholes on youtube...
  3. Has anyone seen Rosario pitch this year. I saw him pitch for Boise last year. My memory was a real nice fastball, but he needed to work on his secondary stuff. nvm
  4. Been on that one for about a year. My next guy is Amaya. Hearing good things about his d at second, and of course his bat is really exciting. I think he's ahead of Marco already for me, and will be for everyone else by the end of the year.
  5. That defensive number for that year is probably a huge outlier. Soriano's defense has always been underrated, but he almost certainly wasn't the best defensive player for his position in baseball by a wide margin which is what fangraphs has him at in 2007. To compare, bWAR had him as a 4.1 win player that year. But he was a very good to great player that year with either system. I'm sure all the assists he got before people knew never to run on him helped prop up that perception quite a bit. I think he was extremely valuable the first half of that year because of all the runners he gunned down.
  6. Finally? I thought that was pretty damn quick.
  7. i doubt this is true. maybe 5th outfielder, but who cares about 5th outfielders? WSR does.
  8. Yet he still somehow has a swinging K HA
  9. Demp wouldn't get Rendon straight-up. The Nationals would be fools to do that.
  10. That's a really exciting middle infield. Didn't realize those three could all be on the field at the same time.
  11. I could watch him swing bats all day. Anyone in the majors have better bat speed than that right now?
  12. Sorry, I don't keep track of wins, losses, saves, holds, or blown saves. That's because Fred is a stone-cold pimp.
  13. Who peed in KG's cheerios? I thought he was especially high on Soler, actually.
  14. Darvish is the one player that they certainly should have gone after. (They did.) The winning bid was almost exactly what everyone was predicting (No, it wasn't.), so Theo could have gone higher than the predictions. (Game theory.) Cespedes also was attainable. (Not at our price.) I wasn't a big fan of the Zambrano trade, but it was a forgone conclusion that they wanted him gone. I would have tried for a deal involving Headley from SD instead of Stewart at 3B. (Those trades are not comparable in terms of money or talent required.) They might have been a bad team this year, but they would have had a few more holes filled for next year and beyond.
  15. http://www.bleachernation.com/forum/index.php?/topic/1000-crazy-trades/ Not crazy about the minor league guy Brett added. That question is definitely not interesting. He's pandering to the unwashed masses with that one. "OMG! Someone wrote something on my message board!" Glad that doesn't happen here.
  16. I knew that was coming, but it doesn't make it hurt any less.
  17. Amen! Signs you done [expletive] up. Slow clap.
