    I think that's far enough down the line that we can't really know. In 3 years, maybe Rizzo's plateaued as less than we expect, maybe he's good but we can trade his last couple years of control for a real big fish, maybe he's out of baseball because his cancer came back. Moreover, here's the 2009 Cubs prospect Top 10: Vitters Shark Cashner Rhee Castillo Hart Castro Flaherty J Jackson HJ Lee Which is just a long way of saying that there isn't any need to brainstorm uses for Vogelbach at the moment. Kevin Hart? I remember him having nice stuff, but I had no idea he was ever that high up. Kevin Hart was the doom bringer. He sucked something fierce. He really did. I remember when he was first called up. I believe he entered the game with the bases loaded and no out and struck out the side. Then he went back to being Kevin Hart forever.

    perhaps you should give me some pointers on how to handle it. your history on this board indicates that being wrong is a position with which you are quite comfortable. You must have me confused with someone else, I rarely post mostly just lurk, due to the growing throng of A-holes here. If your going to dog a player maybe you should have some idea of what your talking about before you do. But when you do post, your grammar is excellent.

    Not much too it. He doesn't have the pitch repitorie to make it through a line up two to three times, so he has to throw strikes. He literally has no margin for error. Entering today, he had the 11th highest strikeout rate and the 6th highest swinging strike percentage among starters in baseball (obviously today will bring that down a little). Whatever his struggles have been lately, how can those numbers be reconciled with the root cause being a lack of stuff? It's easy to do when you just say things that you don't know anything about.

    Has anyone seen Rosario pitch this year. I saw him pitch for Boise last year. My memory was a real nice fastball, but he needed to work on his secondary stuff. nvm

    Been on that one for about a year. My next guy is Amaya. Hearing good things about his d at second, and of course his bat is really exciting. I think he's ahead of Marco already for me, and will be for everyone else by the end of the year.

    That defensive number for that year is probably a huge outlier. Soriano's defense has always been underrated, but he almost certainly wasn't the best defensive player for his position in baseball by a wide margin which is what fangraphs has him at in 2007. To compare, bWAR had him as a 4.1 win player that year. But he was a very good to great player that year with either system. I'm sure all the assists he got before people knew never to run on him helped prop up that perception quite a bit. I think he was extremely valuable the first half of that year because of all the runners he gunned down.
