    Consider this: It was always known and respected, by everyone, that Dempster greatly preferred LA over any other destination. But, our shrewd front office being the pimps that they are, may have just tested the waters in Atlanta and found that they were inexplicably willing to part with Delgado. They go "holy [expletive], really?" and now have to convince Dempster to make a choice that, while discussed was never really on the table, practically speaking. Add in the media exacerbating the situation and possibly scooping the FO straight to Dempster, and he just gets hit with a ton of bricks with no one really at fault.

Is it cool for him to waste the FO's time/energy too? This is just a negative response to your delayed gratification. People are already super mad that he'd dare take 24 hours to make the decision, regardless of what it is. I'll be annoyed when he blocks the trade, but you guys are freaking out over hypotheticals and/or failing to understand why a human would need 24 hours to decide whether he wants to move across the country to live in shitty Atlanta.
