  1. pretty bad. he was under it, but it hit the heal of his glove and popped out.
  2. does anyone have a link to watch the game?
  3. No idea on his swing, but remember Brett has some pretty insane hot and cold streaks in the minors. Looks like it's carrying over to the majors. They did a side-by-side earlier in the game of his set-up and leg-kick compared to his debut game and today. Completely different. I can't be the only one that saw it. I saw it, you're not crazy.
  4. @KevinCapie: #Chiefs mgr Kopitzke on no Soler Wednesday: "He's got a little something. Hopefully he'll be back tomorrow." A little something? the hiv
  5. Fangraph's take on him as a starter and more specifically his splitfinger fastball
  6. SPOILERS!!!!!
  7. It's working fine for me, using my PS3.
  8. I liked the collective moan in the crowd when that ball hit the wall. Could tell they really wanted Rizzo's first home run.
  9. probably the best place for this. http://deadspin.com/5920117/carlos-santana-was-out-by-six-feet-except-that-umpire-jim-wolf-is-legally-blind
  10. Bob having some fun with the telestrator.
  11. Am I missing something? A bunt single and a walk is not showing up? It was a combination of trying to reverse jinx and mocking the Dempster haters.
  12. shocking, Dempster not showing up for a big game. :stickman:
  13. Lineup: Campana CF, Castro SS, DeJesus RF, Soriano LF, LaHair 1B, Clevenger C, Barney 2B, Stewart 3B, Dempster P
  14. He's in the lineup for tonight's game.
  15. Castro has the most knockdowns according to BIS. link Not sure what this tells us, if it tells us anything.
  16. http://espn.go.com/blog/sportscenter/post/_/id/58085/sports-science-dive-or-run-past-first-base OK, smart guy, since I'm blocked at work which one is faster? Running through the bag thanks for the link. looks like I was wrong.
  17. I know Banedon is the only one that agrees with me, but I think it is faster to dive head first, since you immediately gain 6'. However I don't think the risk of injury outweighs the extra .01 second you gain. Nice play by Barney.
  18. He gives up 2 runs in the 2nd and you say he "fails to show up."? That's pretty dumb. I was just trying to beat the Dempster haters to the punch.
  19. Of course with the Cubs going for their first 3 game sweep and 3 game winning streak after a long losing streak; Dempster fails to show up.
