  1. I thought this was a Derwood post.
  2. Will the game times be announced today, or will they wait until Saturday to see if the ALDS games on Monday will be necessary?
  3. I didn't want this post to get lost in the wild card thread. (Down with megathreads!) Other people are free to use this thread to schedule their own watch parties, if, like me, you weren't cool enough to be invited to the robot's. I'm going to Dexter's in Madison to watch the game Wednesday. If anybody else in the Madison area wants to watch the game. I assume there other people from Madison on here.
  4. does anyone else find themselves clapping along? I love Castro http://m.mlb.com/cutfour/2015/09/28/152047168/starlin-castros-catchy-walkup-song
  5. I too will be at game 3 of the NLDS to watch Arrieta complete the sweep. :beg: :stickman: Section 508 for me
  6. Why is La Stella playing again?
  7. so is Tree banned if he doesn't have the new game thread up by 1?
  8. I believe, all the Cubs have to do is win 29 games the rest of the year and we'll make the playoffs no matter what everyone else does.
  9. Today would be a good day for a Maddux from Lester
  10. Didn't we have to explain to Derwood that Votto doesn't suck already this year?
  11. What's a Bojack Horseman ? A netflix original series
  12. Fred and philosophizer75 are correct. you guys should watch Bojack Horseman
  13. Ok, let me try another one. One day there was this woman who was cleaning out her place, and she came across her shoebox of the love letters her former boyfriend wrote to her while she was in college. She really enjoyed reading the letters and the nostalgia. So she decided she would send the letters to her ex boyfriend, because she thought he would like a trip down memory lane too. That night she went out with her current boyfriend and she told him that she came across this box of old love letters from her former boyfriend and decided to send them to him. Her boyfriend thought this was a terrible idea. He was pissed. He thought the ex-boyfriend would see this as an romantic gesture and think she wanted to get back together. She thought that was ridiculous and he would just enjoy reading the letters and not read anything into it. This led to a huge argument and they fought for hours. Her boyfriend was really pissed she did this, especially because now he would know where she lives. It was getting late though, so he decided to take her back to her place by the highway. He parked the car and walked her to her door, but left the car unlocked and the windows down. Guess what was in his back seat when he got back to the car?
  14. There was this landscaper, who was one of the best landscapers around. He had this on particular skill that he was really proud of. He could look at any job and immediately know exactly how many bags of mulch he would need, without any leftover. One day he was working a job, and he looked at it and said yep this job will take 19 mulch bags. He did the job, and it was phenomenal. It was like the Taj Mahal of landscaping work. He wasn't happy though, because he had one bag of mulch left over. He was distraught and didn't know what to do. As he was driving down the interstate to return the bag of mulch, he decided to throw the bag of mulch out the window in disgust. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IJAME21OIvk/UdskyscKyzI/AAAAAAAARZA/bGYMHcaY5k8/s1600/wtf7.gif some jokes take time.

  16. How long do you leave Richard in? Pull him now, and be thankful you got 6 from him, or see if you can get at least 1 more to save the bullpen as mush as possible for the big week ahead?
  17. Well, Grimm threw so many pitches last inning. lmao Didn't Denorfia pitch hit for Grimm?
  18. I'm probably jinxing it, but I'll be at the game and the Cubs are undefeated when somebody from my family is in attendance this year. I think it's 15-0.
  19. so a couple of innings ago they had a promo for teachers appreciation night on Tuesday. I looked at tickets, it's $30 with the promo but $29 without the promo. Am i missing something?
  20. Pinot Grigio + Red Vine = crazy delicious
  21. 0 I thought it had to do with being on the roster before September... Maybe that has to do with traded players. The trade deadline is in July... Are you guys thinking of teams signing guys by a certain date in the NBA to be eligible for the playoffs? Lol. You have to be on the 40 man roster on Aug. 31 to be eligible for the postseason, so a player acquired through the waiver process after 8/31 can't play in the postseason.
