    Wow....is there actually a chance this guy starts on the ML roster next year? If he does, something will have gone very wrong. Rohan is 26 and only made AA for the first time a month ago, plus he's a 1B only type defender. Depending on what he does at AAA, his numbers are decent...it just seems like they're fast tracking him because he is so old. So I'm just thinking if he doesn't make the big leagues next year, maybe the year after, he probably never will.

Dempster's gonna end up with his head in a duffel if he brings that Harry Caray [expletive] to LA. Yeah right, him and Will Ferrell are gonna be best friends. Slangin chicks all day and all night together.

    This. And at least this time we know going into the offseason we're tanking 2013. I'm sure the front office and team feel the exact same way. They should probably just take a year off and come back in 2014.

    At this point I for sure would have been. It should be more though IMO, Victorino is on a heavy decline.

    Will Ohman & Miguel Batista, although I think both had to accept minor league assignments with the Reds & Braves recently. But they've been in the league forever. Also Chad Gaudin. Others who come to mind: Farnsworth LaTroy Hawkins Jerome Williams Eric Hinske Kevin Gregg Juan Cruz Jerry Hairston Casey McGahee Scott Downs Jason Kendall (just "officially" retired) Not that I'm surprised those guys have jobs in the league, just naming some former Cubs still out there.

    Really? They couldn't even get Gilmartin? This is Maholm and Johnson we're talking about. You know, Johnson, the guy that caused mass panic around here when Theo signed him for a million bucks this offseason. That was a ridiculous day.

    Saw Jon Leuer at Wicker Park Fest yesterday. He's tall. I know, not CBB related anymore but I figured only anyone from Wisky would give a poop anyways (if even them).
