  1. Yeah, Dioner's PH HR's have helped the value mentally to me I think.
  2. Sorry, yeah, I meant gone as in does he get traded at a pretty high value or do we hang onto him?
  3. Valbuena, Schierholtz and the Catching duo have been very pleasantly surprising. Is James Russell gone this year? He's more valuable than Sean Marshall IMO.
  4. nobody pinch hits for their dh/number 3 hitter in the 5th inning because the opposing pitcher is a lefty. come on. Or really for any top hitters in the minors, right? I'd assume they'd WANT Vogelbach to face LHP.
  5. Anyone with the Win % of the entire Cubs franchise combined? Guessing something like .350
  6. The NBA is stupid. Except when the Bulls have Michael Jordan and are awesome.
  7. Marcus Smart announced he's returning to school. Dumb, I don't care how much you love college he's guaranteed to go top 5 and probably top 3, you don't pass up that money. Especially since next years draft is looking like it could be really strong and he can really only fall I don't know a whole lot about Smart and if that is the case then he probably should turn pro. But I don't know if I'd label it as "dumb" either. I can totally respect kids who want to go to 2+ years of school. The last prospect who deterred the NBA for 4 years turned into one of the best players of all time.
  8. any replay you are dying to see will not be shown on the jumbotron. Do you people think it's like some giant personalized RedZone channel or something? Have you ever actually seen a jumbotron in use at a stadium? Welp, I really don't go to other baseball stadiums, so :-k I'm really not sure.
  9. I understand, but why not just leave him down there until he starts producing a bit?
  10. I think it definitely makes the game experience better. There are 2-3 times each game where I'm dying to see a replay.
  11. Yeah, Wrigley is already much better with that small board they have in RF. Jumbo will be better better.
  12. Why is this even a guaranteed thing? Isn't he looking like complete [expletive] in the minors right now?
  13. Just found out in reading the "homophobic slur" article that Robbie Rogers is gay. Just really surprised I had never heard this before.
  14. I'm not trying to be a smartass, but are you surprised by this? Yeah, this is not a great reason to have season tickets right now.
  15. He did good in spring training. So there's that.
  16. Louisville up there too, but only if Russ Smith stays. Ken Pom's #1 player this year.
  17. Gary Harris could end up 2nd Team All-American or better next year.
  18. Apparently? Haven't you noticed every column ever written about Augusta National talks about those $1.50 pimento cheese sandwiches? The thing I thought was weird is everything is generic and/or labelled as Masters. (Beer, light beer, imported beer, , soft drinks, chips, cookies, etc.) They even force you to rip off the gatorade bottle label when you enter. Except there is Mars branded candy, Snickers and M&M's. Thewrapp ers are all green plastic, I'm guessing so they don't show up on TV. http://i.imgur.com/5KSZGCv.jpg But apparently Mars Inc. struck some sort of deal to be included. Pretty much everything said here is correct. My Dad & Uncle have been working #15 for 20 years. Augusta is amazing, but I can't believe people pay $5-10K for the weekend.
  19. 1) MSU 2) Kentucky Very big drop off after that IMO
  20. How does Illinois look next season? Missouri was going to struggle even with Pressey back. Hope for middle of the Big Ten. Abrams - JR Rayvonte Rice - JR (?) Joe Bertrand - RS SR Myke Henry - JR Egwu - JR 4 incoming Freshmen who should at least see minutes (Nunn yes, Malcolm Hill yes, Mav Morgan yes, Jaylon Tate yes). Will hopefully add a transfer.
  21. We will see. Beilein has taken less talented Michigan teams to the tourney. I guess I shouldn't say anything with certainty since they'd be losing almost the entire core team from this year but I believe in Beilein as a coach and Michigan certainly wouldn't be short on talent. You should, because he's probably the best in-game coach there is.
  22. Could be the next Spencer Hawes. Hawes is actually playing VERY well right now. I'm in my fantasy basketball title and he's like the #5 player in the league over the past month. But yeah, took him a while to get there. Think he's bigger than Zeller too. Who would you rather have in the draft right now, Meyers Leonard or Zeller?
