  1. That's great. Sec 416 must be down inside 3b, no? Give your dad my best regards !! Yes, just above the dugout/on-deck circle. Very happy with those these days. Will do! Stay safe on the road!
  2. =D> Almost certain he'll be in the bullpen on opening day 2014.
  3. You know.... I just had dinner there a few weeks back. Love that place !! How've you been ? Awesome, my Grandpa is still chugging along down there. Been good thanks, just working a lot more now that I'm a semi-adult at age 30. My dad and I are in Section 416, Row 5 these days on some nights/weekends.
  4. Hey Fred, how's it going? Haven't been in the game threads a ton this year so just wanted to chime in. You've gotta be in need of a LeRoy, IL truck stop sometime soon....
  5. Thanks. I know catching is a weakness in the system, so I guess that sort of projection is actually pretty decent at this point in time.
  6. Yeah, no way I'd do that. If they want Soler, Olt, Vogelbach then fine. But not Baez or Almora, both of these guys seem on track to have quality major league careers.
  7. What's the story on Cael Brockmeyer? Roster filler catcher or someone who could possibly play at in the big leagues in a couple years?
  8. Wish I could live there.
  9. I think he'd be a pretty good reserve infielder. The problem is that I could potentially see Sveum interfering with the plan and playing him way too much. Barney strikes me as a guy that managers love. Well, there is good reason for why managers like him. That said, I'm okay with the worst case scenario being Barney taking a few more ABs than he should from someone like Olt. Yup, why wouldn't you love him as a manager? He makes you look really good with his defense and fundamentals and you don't have to really take the blame for the poor hitting.
  10. Good thing you don't live here.
  11. I would have said Rizzo last year, but FF has really surprised me this year.
  12. By a test that was anonymous and wasn't supposed to count? The union [expletive] these guys by having them take that test. [expletive] unions.
  13. mini Bauer? Black is pretty much a lock to end up in the pen. He has great late inning potential. Just meant cause he seems to K and BB a lot.
  14. Is it really that tough to grasp the point he's trying to make? There's no doubt this is about as high as Schierholtz's value will get. Color me stupid if he tears it up the rest of the way I guess.
  15. Well, we have a couple nice options in the offseason now.
  16. KC wins 6-3: Amaya 2-4, 2B (22), K, CS (5) Almora 0-3, BB, K Vogelbach 1-3, BB, GIDP Candelario 2-4, HR (7), K Shoulders 2-3 HR (17), BB
  17. Sounds like the DBacks got a nice return on Kennedy.
  18. But he's just another player whose value is mostly tied to speed and defense.
  19. Haha. B.J. Upton is hitting .177/.266/.300. Sweet Jesus. Never understood why so many on here wanted to sign him.
  20. He's never OPSed over .800 in the minors, so, meh. Well, this year he did. And at AA last year.
