It will be interesting to see who guards Deshaun Thomas, probably Lawson. I'm expecting Craft on Terone Johnson so Byrd and Hammons are going to have to score. The line is OSU -7.5 but you could sell me on Purdue winning a tight one or Purdue getting blown out. Tough to say with a young team. It's the first game with students back on campus as well. Yeah, it went pretty much exactly as the linesmakers/computers expected. I thought it would be a tad closer down the stretch. Another big one in Champaign tonight. Minnesota (-1.5) comes to town and Illinois is going to have to keep there physical mentality going from last game if they want to rebound with these guys. I want to say Illinois wins this game at home, but coming off a huge win and against a terrible matchup I will say they drop this one and Minnesota goes to 3-0 in conference.

That's embarrassing. How does a professional organization let that happen to their field? Is it that hard to maintain the field that gets played on 8-10 times a year? Was there recently a soccer or bowl game there or something? It's something that seems all it takes to maintain is resources (ie money) and Dan Snyder doesn't seem to have a shortage or tendency to not spend that. I think several college games were played at Fed Ex this year and Pittsburgh has high school championship games on theirs. I don't know what the excuse in Chicago is. Concerts late in the summer, NCAA game, a handful of high school games and just general crappiness.

Interesting game in West Lafayette tonight. Both teams coming off large road losses.

No, you just walk around. They put colored sheets on the available seats at different price ranges and you can just check out the views, etc. Informal.

Me either, I have all 10 of my players left in both of my playoff fantasy leagues. This week is tougher, especially in the NFC...early on I will say: Pats > Texans (although I think this could be close) Broncos > Ravens Packers > 49ers Seahawks > Falcons

I only voted for Logan Watkins. It's pretty much gotten to the point where I can't differentiate too much between the remaining guys. I know a tad about them all but not enough to fairly rank them in some imaginary order in my head. So I will vote until Watkins has been selected and then watch. -

Man I can't believe we are 13-1. I drink the loo aid and didn't think this would be possible. Now find a way to go at least .500 in conference. I don't see it as a problem. Can someone tell me the biggest difference between Blackburn and Underwood? Why is Underwood considered a better prospect even though he was drafted later?

I've been pleased, just wish we handled the mid majors better. /low low majors G-Webb, Western Carolina, Eastern Kenticky, whoever else....I know those aren't total dog [expletive] teams but they aren't "mid majors". Right now this is a team that plays to its competition regardless of class.
