    I would agree since all along Theo has indicated that he intends to growi talent on the farm and then keepi them as long as they provide value for their contracts. Agree or disagree with the theory, it is clearly the theory they are operating under. Yeah, for now. You really think a 90 win team wouldn't add a big time FA pitcher if available and a need the next offseason?

    I'm not slamming your post, but what makes anyone think that Theo/Ricketts has the wherewithal to get a top tier free agent? Nothing in their track record shows that. Has the wherewithal to get a top FA? Huh? I would say offering the most money when available is all that really matters and I'm confident we will do that eventually. It's not like it's college recruiting and you pick the place with pretty girls and a cool coach.

    But still, he's basically correct. He is not. If Bradley could remotely counted on to approximate Samardzija's performance, then sure, but you're bypassing the uncertainty by dealing for him without really sacrificing any upside because of the quality of Shark's stuff. What is incorrect? AZ would not trade Bradley for Shark right now, seems pretty simple to me.

    If Olt really impresses in ST, I don't see how you send him to AAA...just may as well see what you have with this type of team.

    I really just think Urlacher is sort of pissed Jay is going to get paid way more by the Bears than he ever did. Especially since he's got to believe that 85% of Bears fans like him more than Jay.

    At home with both Dawson and Payne out, Iowa almost has to win that game, imo. I overreact, a lot but I still don't feel safe about a tournament birth yet. That's dumb. It would take a total meltdown for this team to miss the tournament. Not gonna happen. Yeah, this Iowa team is still like a 6 seed at this point.

    I bought tix vs T'Wolves for $14 last night and it was a waste of money.

    Where I don't agree is there being no available arms in the near future besides Price. Just next year you have Masterson, Homer Bailey, Scherzer and Lester (?) I think. And the next year Hamels and Cain?? No, there won't be a Kershaw/Sale/Darvish available, but eventually one of those types of guys will be available to us in the draft in a strong year.

    Candelario. His age compared to the other 3B prospects production and age is enough for me to slot him in here. I just don't think enough of Olt and Villanueva to give them the nod.

    Well, that's really disappointing. Very. The just are not serious. They needed to blow away the field, not field a competitive offer. Oh how I wish MLB would have let Cuban win. Nope, not serious at all. This was all just a charade. Should have offered him $40MM/per.
