  1. I went to IWU. They won a title I think when i was there, or at least a final four. They had some good teams with Crabtree, who was a few years older than me. I think he played in Europe after school. I know there have been better, but Brian Crabtree is the best D3 Player I've ever seen.
  2. Yeah, they have a very talented roster for that level. Such great facilities as well, it's very easy to recruit. 29th CCIW Title this year I believe...will be looking for their 6th Final Four since 1996.
  3. Ah that's right, you've mentioned that before. I went to high school at Naperville Central.
  4. UW-LaCrosse here. They had great football and XC/track programs while I was there but they've fallen off a bit in the last few years. The Wisconsin schools are typically very strong athletically (UWSP #1 and UW-W #2 in basketball right now). And I think Whitewater won the football title as well. IWU actually plays a school out of STL in the 1st round (Webster), although I don't think they are all that great.
  5. For the "Who gives a rat's ass except me" file: DIII Tournament Bracket released today: http://static.psbin.com/5/k/aaaoz4t55i4rm3/2014-mbb-bracket.pdf Illinois Wesleyan enters the tournament #4 in the nation but due to D3 scheduling they just get a brutal road to the Final Four again. Most D3 schools are located in the Midwest and Northeast so travel is a big deal when putting this together. Did anyone on here go to a D3 school?
  6. Look...I am a self-described hockey hater, Blackhawks hater and especially Blackhawk fans hater, but.... Why do you NEVER hear about the Blackhawks on sports talk radio? I hear way more Bulls talk, baseball talk, hell even Olympic hockey talk last week. If they are so popular and people "care" so much, then why aren't isn't the best team in the NHL ever discussed?
  7. Iowa fans = crazy paranoid
  8. It took me a bit, but I see you David Price
  9. At 8-10, Illinois would most certainly be IN. The only terrible loss they have is home vs. Purdue.
  10. Are you sure on that? He was on his dad's team at UWGB that made the tourney 2 straight years (an odd fact I only know because a guy from my high school was the starting shooting guard on those teams) and I'd guess he was probably an assistant for his dad at some point at UW, but I don't recall him working for Bo. Yeah, I was thinking Dick Bennett coaching tree.
  11. Me too. I have a hard time believing that you can't correct a guy's ability to catch a football. It's the easiest thing to do on a football field. He can run, get open, decent blocker. But then again, he has been cut by several times in his career. Onobun was pretty much the worst football player I've ever seen.
  12. They are extremely good, I just have a problem putting much faith in a Tony Bennett coached team in the tournament. Why? Just because that style of play hasn't seemed to fair very well in the past. One hot team or individual player (McDermott) could make it very tough for them to score enough to win.
  13. Yeah, 57th in AdjD is pretty much why I can't see Duke, but who knows right? Villanova is a tough one, but I just like something about them (20th AdjD, 7th AdjO).
  14. They are extremely good, I just have a problem putting much faith in a Tony Bennett coached team in the tournament.
  15. Just can't see it happening without Brandon Ashley. At this point, I'm pretty much down to these teams as Title contenders: 1) Florida 2) Syracuse 3) Louisville 4) Villanova 5) Kansas 6) Michigan St.
  16. So how hilariously wrong was this? I mean he did say he doesn't have game-changing speed... :-"
  17. Nah, I'm pretty sure Wisconsin will still win the 2012 National Championship and Florida the 2014 National Championship. .
  18. For now, Lake. Vitters has to prove something at least first.
  19. Did you see that girl from Biggest Loser, she lost 15 lbs in like 8 minutes.
  20. At least it gives us something to look forward to. Hill and Nunn look like future All BIG material. I am very excited for those two to make the sophomore jump. I am also very excited to see Black next year. Love that Hill knows how to get to the FT line.
  21. Brett Jackson 1-1, 1B, SB, R Mike Olt 0-0, BB Those are good I guess.
