I think Bonds is going to hit 714 and 715 this weekend against the Dodgers. He hit #500 and #73 against them and it would be perfect to do it against them.

Can we instruct our hitters to hit the ball to left field every time? I don't care if they get out, just make Bonds run some more. The guy can barely make it down the first base line. The more he runs the higher the likelihood of a serious knee injury.

hill might be alright. doesn't look like guzman's quite ready. Marshall has looked better than Hill though. In his last 4 starts he had 25.1 IP and only gave up 4 ER. Marshall should stay in the rotation regardless unless he has a couple more bad starts.

Marshall is having one bad start. It's not a big deal. Maddux's last two starts were bad. We need somebody to replace Hill and Guzman. I think Marshall should stay in the rotation.

Wow. Even Dusty should be able to see that split. Those numbers against righties are great. I know they'll drop a bit over the course of the season but still. Like somebody else said...platoon anyone?

My friends have told me that if the Cubs win tonight they will be on a "winning streak." I'm not sure what this means. I'm quite familiar with losing streaks but this "winning streak" idea is quite foreign to me. Can anyone explain it for me?

It's not Mike Krukow's fault he was drunk last night. The game didn't start until after 7 out here. Can you really expect him not to drink until 1000?

Pujols has 18 HR's after 35 games. BBTN showed that Barroid only had 15 through his first 35 in 2001. I hope Pujols breaks the record just to get Barry out of there.
