  1. The series against Milwaukee could have been worse. The series could have gone like the Minnesota-Detroit series where Detroit outscored Minnesota 33-1 and swept the series. At least we won a game.
  2. Is that a rhetorical question? No. I would really like to know. same way you put one in your post. I tried that and it didn't work. But I want to put an image from my computer in my sig. You need to host it on a website like http://www.photobucket.com or http://www.imageshack.us Thanks TT.

  5. Does anybody know how to put a picture in your sig?
  6. Maybe he is tired of trying to settle Z down Yeah, Z needs to learn how to calm himself down much better. Larry shouldn't have to come out every single time Z gets into a jam. Sometimes is okay, but not all the time. Part of being an ace is learning how to control your emotions.
  7. Our offense is pathetic. Screw this. I'm watching basketball. GO LAKERS!!
  8. But Tyson Chandler just hurt his ankle. :( :( PS: I hate Bill Walton. I'm a Lakers fan and we are usually stuck with Walton as our announcer. I was happy when I turned the Bulls game on and saw Walton was announcing.
  9. Pretty sure a pitcher has had 5 strikeouts in 1 inning before. 4 isn't that uncommon I think the ML record is 4 in an inning. I'm not sure though. And I meant that Z is going to embarrass a guy so badly that they are going to give him 2 strikeouts for it. Not he strikes a guy out on a passed ball and said guy gets to first.
  10. It is, but he balked, you can't step more towards home than first. I know what a balk is. But I didn't look at the replays hard enough. You would think that Cedeno would be a little more careful the second time though. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." They may have been balks, but Ronny shouldn't have been off that far.
  11. This thread is probably going to be a little slow until the Bulls lose.
  12. How do you get picked off twice? That's horrible.
  13. Z is going to have 28 strikeouts today in 9 IP. That's right, he's going to strikeout the same batter twice on one play.
  14. We need to win this game so. Taking 2 out of 3 at home against anybody is important.
  15. That Henry one was ridiculous.
  16. That's a new record for futility. I remember a Cubs-White Sox game in the summer of 2003 I believe where Shawn Estes threw 50ish pitches in the first inning and gave up 6 runs. But Novoa's 56 were definately more than that.
  17. One guy I knew and played soccer with (same competative team) growing up has played a couple games for the Men's National Team. His name is Heath Pearce. I doubt he'll make the World Cup roster, but it's weird seeing somebody that you played with as a kid on TV playing for the country.
  18. Way to stick with the game Fred. I like the perseverence.
  19. Because he might have pitched worse then Rusch this year. Wait what am I talking about. But seriously, Ohman has looked pretty pathetic this year too. I say DFA Rusch, take the hit, send down Aardsma, and bring up Williams and Hill. That's a good plan also. Would you keep Ohman in the pen then?
  20. At least we didn't have the worst loss of the day.
  21. According to Bensen, you don't pass up a talent like Reggie Bush. Houston did. Because Houston is cheap or stupid. Or both. I'm so mad at the Bears - didn't like trading down with the amount of talent still available. And then Marcedes gets gobbled up 2 picks later. :( Stupid? Maybe. Cheap? Absolutely not. They gave Williams 6 yrs $54 mil. They came to an pre-arranged contract with Mario Williams - I have a feeling Reggie Bush was asking for more than Houston wanted to pay, so they went to option B. I'd rather have traded down than pay #1 overall money for Mario Williams. It's not like the Texans didn't have a bunch of holes and could have used the extra picks. Houston still gave Mario Williams more than any first round pick had ever gotten before. So whether with Bush or Williams they would still have handed out a record setting deal.

  24. Why don't we give Ohman's position in the pen to Rusch and actually let Ohman pitch more than once every week and a half.
