  1. I think they should just call it a tie and play Week 18 as normal. Sure KC benefits but there was a 50-50 shot they’d get the 1 seed anyway. And they still have to win this week. Both Buff and Cincy are hurt but they also benefit as well. Buffalo probably loses a shot at the 1 seed but they also are unlikely to get the 3 seed now either. Cincinnati loses a shot at the 2 seed but they also clinch the division so they don’t have to worry about dropping to a WC team.
  2. That’s too bad.
  3. Have we seen any names mentioned as a realistic option for next coach if it’s not Berhalter?
  4. Yeah. This isn’t just a bad injury like even a neck injury where the guy might be paralyzed but he’s not going to die. They did CPR on the field. Don’t be like FIFA and make these dudes keep playing 30 minutes after nearly seeing someone die on the field (google Christian Eriksen if you don’t know what I mean). Suspend the game and play it tomorrow.
  5. NFL clearly wants the Packers in the playoffs. They flexed GB-Det to Sunday night. It’s a win and in for GB but not Det. If Seattle beats the Rams, Det is out even if they beat GB. So if Seattle wins then Det has nothing to play for. What they should have done is put GB-Det on Sat night. You risk Seattle not caring in their game because they’re out of GB wins but they shouldn’t be worried about that. They also have Jags-Titans which is a true winner gets in game that should be the Sunday night game.
  6. This is a great ending. The USC trying to catch the kickoff at the 1 is going to cost them because Tulane got the safety so they were down 6 instead of 8.
  7. Not going to lie. I enjoyed that month without having to watch Spurs underperform week in and week out. Conte is a much less accomplished Jose Mourinho and I can’t wait for him to leave after the year.
  8. They are going in a way that extracts the most amount of pain possible from me for some unknown thing I did in the recent past. That ending should ease the pain a little bit.
  9. Georgia-Oklahoma in the 2018 Rose (2017 season) was 54-48 in 2 OT is up there. That plus these two might be the top 3. Bama-OSU in the 2015 Sugar (2014 season) which was 42-35. Then the 2019 Fiesta Bowl between Clemson and OSU was 29-23. Clemson had a 4 play, 94 yard drive to take the lead with 1:49 left. Then Fields drove them down to the 23 but threw a pick in the end zone to end the game. And those are the clear top 5 because there aren't any other close games.
  10. I had my doubts too. Definitely glad to be wrong.
  11. And fumble on 1st and goal from the 1.
  12. Tough to win a game when you throw two pick 6’s.
  13. Ronaldo signs a $75M per year deal through the summer of 2025 with a Saudi Arabian club.
  14. The Warriors are 15-2 at home an 3-16 on the road. Anyone know how to find the biggest gap between home and road winning percentage for a full season. I'd be shocked if whatever the current record is was anywhere close to the Warriors right now.
  15. Kane is currently on pace for 31 goals this year which is one off the EPL record for 38 games and even if he keeps up that pace he'll be lucky to finish within 10 goals of Haaland. Two more today. On pace for 51.

    NFL Week 16

I’m already annoyed at the seemingly inevitable Tampa win over Dallas in the first round. I would love it if Dallas just destroyed Tampa 42-10 or something like that.
  17. I did fantasy baseball for a few years. My worst one was 2017. Almost a month in, Anthony Rendon had a .566 OPS. On Sunday April 30, he went 6-6, 3 HR, 1 2B, 10 RBI, 5 runs scored. He raised his own OPS 200 points that day. Had he gone 6-6 with 4 double, 2 runs scored and like 5 RBI, I would have won 3 more categories. My best bad beat that went my way was the 2015 season. Sunday Night Baseball was Cubs-Pirates and Jake was in the middle of his run. Fantasy playoff semifinals. All I had left was Gregory Polanco and the only thing I could get that would matter was a SB. Jake takes a no hitter into the 7th. Polanco singles and I’m just praying he tries to steal. He does and is safe and that steal gave me the category and the win that week. If he doesn’t steal or is thrown out, I lose.
  18. I would just like to say two things. 1. I love every bad beat story for pure entertainment purposes. They're all amazing and yet unique in their own way in how painful they are. 2. I love every bad beat story because it continues to provide justification for me never doing fantasy football. If something like that happened to me it would piss me off so much and, knowing myself, a bad beat loss would bother me more than a bad beat win would give me joy.
  19. Is that baseball or hockey vs basketball? Protestant vs. Catholic Fans get along great too. Never any issues.
  20. Biggest sporting event in the world. Fox: Our coverage will continue on FS1 due to a regular season NFL game.
  21. Holy crap what a final. About the only thing I would change if I could would be if Messi had gotten the winner in extra time instead of PKs. Maybe for France to play better in the first 60 minutes. Other than that, no notes. Going to remember this one forever.
  22. I know he already took his but can Messi take this one too just so he can get the winner?
  23. 100%. Just for Messi in my case.
  24. The closest thing might be the Game 7 Cavs-Warriors except if that game had finished 147-143 in double OT.
  25. Coworker of mine is from Argentina. Can't wait to talk to him tomorrow.
