Well, Louisville made the BCS because they won the conference, so nobody's arguing that they should've been in there. And most of us who aren't ND fans already agree that they didn't belong. Well that's what Cuse's point was. You chose to single out his incorrect inclusion of LSU into the debate. Fact is, it's unlikely a 2 loss Big East school would get picked over a 2 loss Big 10 or SEC school.

They should make a provision that if the third place team in a BCS conference is in the, say, top 8 of the final BCS standings then they are eligible, but not guaranteed, to be selected to play in a BCS bowl. That way, you know if a conference gets three teams in the BCS, they likely deserve it. I also wouldn't mind if they had a minimum wins requirement for a BCS, regardless of conference title. If some team (cough*FSU2005*cough) is only 8-4 or whatever they shouldn't get to go to the Orange Bowl. While it's a good idea, I don't see the conferences ever agreeing to that though.

The #11 team really shouldn't have been there. They need to change the rule that prohibits a conference from only getting in two teams and we could have had a better match-up. If they do that then the rich just get richer. You'd see just SEC, Big 10 and Big 12 teams fill all the slots. They both beat Penn State, who will probably be a top 25 team in the final polls. I'm not talking about the final polls. It's because the major conferences all send their conference champion to a BCS game. Wake Forest was ranked 14 in the final BCS standings. Look at last year. #3 Penn State played #22 Florida State in the Orange Bowl last year.

I think they have 3 losses, pulling out one of those 4 road games. Notre Dame would be middle of the pack in the SEC depending on how the schedule played out and who they played at home and on the road.

While Walker is not a great back he is certainly not horrible. I've watched every ND game this season. Yes, he is terrible. I don't think I have ever seen him break a tackle. He had over 100 yards in the first half today, is that terrible?
