Yeah, that is true. But their D is actually going to have to, you know, make some stops. I don't know what I was thinking. What's the bet? Not necessarily the money but is it straight up or a point spread, etc.?

Bradshaw AND Long. It's going to be an all-out laughfest in the booth tonight. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to have NFL guys announce college games should be shot immediately. Why? They don't even call NFL games. They work in the studio. They have plenty of football knowledge. That makes it even worse. You have guys who get paid to talk about the NFL all the time, but don't even announce at all, actually announcing a college game. It's a horrible idea. Everyone is always whining about announcers on here. It gets old. Then don't listen. Why would I not listen? I don't have a problem with who is announcing. I meant don't listen to what you consider whining.

During College GameDay they showed a highlight reel of the bowl season up to this point. Mark May commented that we've seen some amazing comebacks in the bowls this year including Texas Tech over Minnesota and Boise State over Oklahoma. The problem, of course, is that it was Oklahoma who made the comeback against Boise State and not the other way around. I don't know why I even bother listening to Mark May.

UC Davis got their second win of the year with a 49-47 win over Brown yesterday on a 3 pointer at the buzzer. I still maintain that the basektball team will end up with fewer wins that the football team (6) managed this year.

Too true. I had originally typed "there aren't many star players that aren't" but then reread it, thought about it, and realized that it was mainly wide receivers.

Sounds like he's totally ready for the NFL. Well, yeah. I suppose so. I just don't prefer the "I'm bigger than the game itself" attitude. Is Jarrett cocky? Sure. But there aren't many star wide receivers that aren't. This type of behavior isn't unprecedented and doesn't mean he's not ready for the NFL. If he hasn't learned to be respectful now, is he really going to learn that by staying in school for another year? Of course not. Fact is, the guy is a stud receiver. He's had huge games in all three bowl games he's played in. He knows how to go up and get the ball and he's going to be a very good WR in the NFL. But don't get me wrong - I totally understand the point you're making. He should have been flagged on the TD catch where the Michigan safety hit him late and got a late hit penalty. He also should have got one when, after making a catch, he gave the ball to that same Michigan safety. Just take solace in the fact that if he does this in the NFL, somebody is going to take his head off.

They also won because Paul Thompson sucks. After Boise went up 7-0, Thompson fumbles on the first play after the kickoff which gave Boise the ball at the OU 9. Then in the second quarter with the score 14-7 BSU, he threw and interception in the endzone after OU had gone 52 yards. With the score 21-10 BSU, he threw a pick 6. He directly contributed to 14 BSU points and cost OU at least 3 with a shot at 7. ETA: I'm not trying to discredit Boise but OU did as much to lose the game as Boise did to win it.

I'm sure we'll find out when he sobers up around Friday or so. Assuming he didn't die of a heart attack at the end of the game.
