Are you kidding? WTH! MLB.TV doesn't show ESPN games live. It will be available on archive (but unlike the other games, it might not be archived immediately--at least they weren't in the past). They figure you can watch them on TV (and ESPN pays big bucks to carry the game...) MLB.TV doesn't show any games that are televised on a national network so they never air the Saturday games on FOX either, which sucks for somebody like me who gets the Dodgers/A's/Giants on Saturdays instead of the Cubs.

Ah, how nice it is to have no class and no work tomorrow (not that I would work in the morning/early afternoon anyway). I also have no roommate stealing the TV from me this year. GO CUBS!!!

It's not as bad if Cubs fans vote a bunch to rig the vote as it is for the newspaper itself to rig the vote. If you're the newspaper and you're going to rig the vote for one of the teams, why even have the vote in the first place.

Once All-Star ballots are out, we will formulate proper strategy. I'm thinking Lee, Ramirez, and Barrett should be our focus this year. :D I'm in as long as the Cubs are competitive. DLee's injury plus the Cubs sucking immediately after (losing 12 of 13 in early May) eliminated any desire I had to vote for any Cubs players.

is HD really that big of a difference? I could understand not wathcing b/c it was the cards and indians....but not b/c it wasn't HD I find it difficult to watch anything that isn't HD now. I'll still watch my favorite teams in non-HD, but it's a real struggle. Once you go HD, it's all that matters. I'm with you all the way on that, Soul! Once you go HD, SD is just not the same! Think of it along the lines of having High Speed Internet and then having to revert back to dialup... that pretty much sums it up! That is a horrible comparison. I get to watch HD when I go home (my parents have it) but don't mind coming back and watching tv on SD. But I have to deal with slower internet at work (not dialup but not nearly as fast as the internet in my apartment) and it would be horrible to have to use dialup.

The board would crash so quickly if that happened. But I doubt that happens especially not midseason.
