In all honesty, what else do you think it would take to get A-Rod? Pie? Veal? Samardzija? All of the above? I don't think the price tag would be that high. Maybe Z and Marshall. With the way the Yankees starting pitching looks at the moment, I would have to agree on the price tag not being as high.

I've never rooted for Bonds to hit a home run. As far as I'm concerned, this game is a lose-lose situation because one of the two teams has to win. And now my pain is compounded by Barroid hitting a home run. My only saving grace is the Lakers beating the Kings today.

This is an absurd bit of reasoning. What does it matter if you don't know a few days in advance? Wind direction is a fact, it's not opinion. Furthermore, it's a fact of life in April baseball that the wind will often blow in. You're missing my point but I'm not going to bother arguing this anymore. It's a waste of time.

if he were a cub, he'd lose it with 2 outs. I remember when a Yankee (Mussina IIRC) lost a perfect game with 2 outs in the ninth against the Red Sox. Two outs now.
