    We traded a future HOF'er for him. Sad. I'm pretty happy with our rotation's performance outside of Zambrano. Maddux would have only taken up space and salary. Maddux for prospects on the other hand... I would have liked to get Matt Kemp or Andre Ethier for him. If you believe the rumors, they weren't really available. I would have thrown in the necessary prospects along with Maddux to get one of those guys, though. I would have taken their worst prospect instead of taking Izturis and his salary. Yup. At least with a prospect you don't have to pay $4.15M for this year.

    Saying someone is on steroids just because he's having a big year is about as old as Julio Franco. He is murdering every number he has ever put up and it is barely june. He is only 24 right now and only had 500 AB's over two seasons at the ML level. Do you think DLee was on roids for his 2005 season? Because he did the same thing (not necessarily by June) in murdering his old stats. His OPS was 1.080 that year when hes previous career high was 2003 when he had a .887 OPS.

    No, they are tied and the Reds have two runners in scoring position. DLEE IS THE MAN 'Oh I see that, I still think they win this division once Pujols gets hot. Why is Lily hitting here? I think we are short one reliever today. The Cubs are always short one reliever with Eyre on the roster.

    Well, on the plus side, we don't have to see Izterrible and Lilly lead off next inning (assuming Lilly stays in the game).

    I thought it would be great if Riot took a walk but then I remembered that Izterrible is up next so it won't matter.
