I know I'm a couple days late to this party, but are you seriously arguing that the Cubs are better off with Theriot hitting singles and stealing bases than they would be with somebody else hitting doubles, triples and home runs but not stealing bases?

Marshall for sure and usually Hill. Though with Hill I expect the Cubs to score 0-2 runs as well.

Did they move up or down? Up. Used to be D2. We're in the Great West with Cal Poly, Southern Utah, North Dakota State and South Dakota State.

Its really not that bad of an idea. I really don't care which arm the relievers throw with as long as they can get both lefties and righties out.

Man, we could use another first baseman too. I mean, we can't have him ground into a double play and a near double play in successive AB's late in the game, can we? And DeRosa flying out in the eighth? DFA him. Ramirez only getting one hit? Gone.

You hit DeRosa for him there and swith Pagan to CF. Wish we had Lou Brown running our team sometimes. Yup. And even if the Phillies bring in a righty, I would much rather have DeRosa facing Pulpo than Jacque facing any lefty.
