    At 33 games over .500, the Cubs have eclipsed last year's high water mark of 32 games over .500. The next one to pass is 2008, where they topped out at 35 games over .500. After that it's 1945, where they peaked at 42 games over .500. The 1929 and 1935 teams got to 48 over .500. Then there are the 1906-1910 teams, which peaked at 80!, 64, 44, 55 and 54 over.

    They have sucked mightily since the break. The Dodgers starters are putting up around. 5.00 era since the break and have still passed SF in the standings 9-20 since the break, worst in the league. Went in 6.5 up on LA and they're 1.5 back now. They were 3 games better than the Cubs and are now 10.5 behind the Cubs.

    You're definitely in the post-season rotation. Regular season then, lol. If Fred's record for me was right, my record is now 16-3. That's Arrieta-esque Fred was a bit off but it's still 15-3. And yes, barring another 10 game winning streak, you'll be starting Game 1 of the NLDS.

    Well at least they're consistent. They've also got the second worst record in the majors since May 9. They were 23-10 at that point which was their high water mark for the season.
