I am relieved that Poles did not overthink tonight. Caleb/Odunze is the absolutely best you could have hoped for tonight and Poles delievered.

I always thought that if either team lost draft pick(s) it would be in '25 draft. So this news does not surprise me.

I concur. I think the Bears will stay put. I am beginning to be talked into Byron Murphy. Mainly because, I hate an irrationale fear of the Jets jumping the Bears to grab Rome Odunze.

I doubt the Bears are moving up but if they chose to, I have no problems with the Bears walking out of the draft with just two players, especially if the two are Caleb and MHJ (or Alt, or Nabors). NE (Ben Volin) guy suggested the Bears are going to be aggressive in their pursuit of MHJ (I don't know what he's heard, so take it for what it's worth). He suggests 9 and 75 plus next years first and a 3rd or 4th or something like that to move up to 3. I would not trade '25 first rd, but I would trade the CAR pick. I think there could be a deal to be made but I think it's unlikely.

We don't know what Poles is willing to give up to move up. With that said, I am perfectly fine with the Bears staying put at 9 and keeping the few picks they do have in this year's draft.

IMO, I could care very little about the quantity of picks in this year's draft, I rather have the quality of the prospect. So give me Caleb and say Marvin Harrison, Jr over having 5 or 6 draft picks.

If he is with the Iowa Cubs as long as Hideo Nomo was, I'd be surprised.

I followed the game as it was happening, then I had to work (I work overnight) with that game still on my mind. The work helped calm me down but it was still a long night.

Unnessary agression is unnessary. But barring injury, Caleb should be W1 starter.

Only one position really matters and that is QB. Figure that one out (Caleb Williams), and the rest will take care of themselves.
