I don't expect playoffs but if the Hawks want to play themselves into the conversation, I won't argue
My only expectation for this season will be to see Lardis, Moore and Frondell joining the party.
First: I'm glad the Brewers got curbstomped and not the Cubs. Let's face facts Cubs would have gone out as quickly as the Brewers.
Second: Everybody else get a standard strike zone plus ABS challenges. Ohtani gets neither. His strike zone is from the ground to the top of the helmet and he gets no challenges. You GOT to give pitchers a fighting chance.
Third: Dodgers are pretty much a lock to win, right? Only chance is if Tor/SEA goes 7 and it causes Ohtani and the Dodgers to go cold while they are waiting.
Never got the impression he was ever interesting in staying long term. Disappointed he could not have had a better season but oh well. So it does not surprise me.
This is a non-story from a Caleb/Bears standpoint. To me, David Hough is ragebaiting. He wants to manufacture a controversy because controversy sells. Caleb/Bears simply should move on and let this story die.
I am working under the assumption that when the Dodgers win the WS, they will then trade Hernandez to free up LF for Tucker and then sign Cease and King to stick them in the bullpen because why not.
Joking of course......maybe.
Last year, this team would have and did fold. This year, they fought to the end to get the win, despite the referees efforts. Ben Johnson affect is real.
I'm not saying playoffs, but would asking for 8-9 wins be too much to ask for?
