  1. SOMETHING has to change. Keeping running out pretty much the same lineup is not doing anything. IDC anymore but Alcantara and Ramrez need to be in the lineup EVERYDAY.
  2. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting something different.
  3. Is is possible that Hoerner is playing through concussion symptoms, similar to when Rizzo with the Yankees? I mean, he's stats have been not good since that game he got hit in the head by the Padres.
  4. I won't dare ask for a win but is it too much to ask the Cubs to have more then 3 hits and/or more than 2 runs?
  5. This does not feel like an ebb and flow, this offense genuinely feels broken. Something has to change.
  6. And for a team with two 10 game winning streaks that would be crazy.
  7. I don't know if Jed has the guts to do it but if the Cubs do not plan on re-signing Suzuki, then maybe they should trade him before the deadline.
  8. Must be nice to treat the regular season like it is an extended spring training.
  9. Sounds like lineup changes are coming. I'm guessing Happ is sitting but I'd give him the rest of the weekend.
  10. I would be good with that. Sometimes vets need a kick in the butt.
  11. I hope so. In fact, I want Counsell plays guys like Alcantara, Mo Baller (no matter if he is struggling) Amaya and Ramirez more.
  12. If the Cubs are going to struggle offensively, I rather do it with the younger guys.
  13. Now I understand why the Bears brought in a couple of DB's this week for a visit.
  14. I've accepted the fact that the Brewers are in the Cubs heads. It's up to the players to get rid of that fact.
  15. Reds played well, got to first then slump and fell to last in the division. The Cubs played well, got to first place then slump and fell in the division. The Brewers played well, got to first and then their slump should be incoming, right?
  16. Any interests in the Bulls trying to acquire a third FRP? If there was a draft to do it, it would be this draft.
  17. Yep, Fourth organization since December for Roa. Good enough to claim, not good enough to stick.
  18. There'll need something to hang their hats on when they stop hitting homeruns and struggle to score runs. Plus the Cubs will return the favor to the Sox in August. Let them enjoy this.
