SOMETHING has to change. Keeping running out pretty much the same lineup is not doing anything. IDC anymore but Alcantara and Ramrez need to be in the lineup EVERYDAY.

Is is possible that Hoerner is playing through concussion symptoms, similar to when Rizzo with the Yankees? I mean, he's stats have been not good since that game he got hit in the head by the Padres.

I won't dare ask for a win but is it too much to ask the Cubs to have more then 3 hits and/or more than 2 runs?

This does not feel like an ebb and flow, this offense genuinely feels broken. Something has to change.

I hope so. In fact, I want Counsell plays guys like Alcantara, Mo Baller (no matter if he is struggling) Amaya and Ramirez more.

If the Cubs are going to struggle offensively, I rather do it with the younger guys.

There'll need something to hang their hats on when they stop hitting homeruns and struggle to score runs. Plus the Cubs will return the favor to the Sox in August. Let them enjoy this.
