    are you kidding? it was a HUGE thing in the news last year. I remember mainly Mercker and Alou, but Walker escapes my memory at the moment. So I guess I'm wrong in this case.

    My brother has that picture in his screen saver (he's a huge hockey fan so last winter as you cna believe, nearly killed him). I have yet to see the collision, but I'm not sure I want to.

    Hell, I'm 24 and I'm quite doubtful that I'll ever see them win a World Series. They may luck into one, but they sure as hell won't win it. I'm 17 and I'm doubting I'll ever see it.

    Same exact thing here, me and my brother were laughin about it, but as it continued we began to feel bad for LaTroy. It's a shame he had to go through this.

    I live in a suburb just south of Chicago... Crete, IL to be exact. And There's maybe 20 true Cubs fans here. And I'll admit, when I catch the Sox score, I mention it the next day (especially after the Cubs win) to my friends who are Sox fans and they do the same to me when the Cubs lose. So I've never really experienced the true rivalry between the teams except for friendly little jabs at each other. But I do know that no Sox fan cheered for the Cubs in 2003 down here. Just thought I'd share some of that.
