    I actually went from May 20th to June 20th without watching the Cubs. I didn't watch any pro baseball, I didn't look at any baseball news... and it was nice. I did come here however for the 24 thread and World Cup thread lingering.

    Is this a serious question? The World Cup is one of the greatest things to watch. And it is one of the most watched events across the world. The crowd is unbelievable (but in a good way, unlike the refs this year... THREE yellow cards to the same player in one game? Ok...) EDIT: Let's not forget the level of competition. In the World Cup, you truly are playing for your country. People have been SHOT for making an own goal. The World Cup has more heart in it than anything I've seen. Maybe this is my soccer bias kicking in since I played it for 12 or 13 years. Oh yeah... why did they take away the Golden Goal OT?

    This gave me a laugh, why? Because once I read the laugh, I looked at the avatar and the toy was running away flailing his arms about and it was like he was laughing.

    Who do we sacrifice for these three guys when they're ready to come back? We can't really tamper with the bullpen, I don't want to, anyway. And the bench is also seeming to be something we don't want to mess with.
