    THAT WAS THE STUPIDEST PLAY-CALLING I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. Ugh. Frankly, I want to go to the Rose Bowl and just beat up UCLA's OC. They ran a PA bootleg on 3rd and goal from the 1 and then went for it on 4th down and did a toss to the short end of the field. All this after driving up the heart for most of the drive. Awful.

    It's because Clemens is well received by the media, Bonds isn't. I'm sure more than 6 of Grimsley's teammates did steroids.

    Pretty pathetic for a team that has won 90+ games 5 of the last 6 seasons with a 102 and 103 win season in there Oakland has 400,000 people, we don't need a stadium that holds 65,000 people. The A's also wanted to get more advance sales so they could plan better, in the past, people knew they could walk up and get good seats, so that's what they did. The A's need a new baseball-only stadium. I was in Mount Davis for the 20th win in a row in 2002. That was one of the two best baseball games I've been at in terms of how great the fans were (and the other was a World Series game). Oakland fans just cannot be compared to Marlins fans.

    88-92!? I heard 91-94 from a few broadcasts earlier this season - his velocity and control went up after his brief spell in the bullpen (when he supposedly worked on his mechanics).
