i thought at first it was horrible. i think its another football length farther. PC challenges, this would be sweet if they review it and move it forward. haaha I was referring to the spot after third down.
If it weren't for a blocked punt USC would be up 21-3. USC scored too easily and the let ND back in the game. They scored too easily early partly because of great field position (ND turnover on downs, good USC kickoff returns), then the blocked punt and two Booty interceptions (but ND couldn't take advantage of the interceptions).
I think Tyrus has way more upside (and Thabo possibly too). Offensively as well? Yes. He has a nice mid-range jumper that needs to develop a bit more and he needs to learn some post moves, but he certainly has the ability and talent to do it.
Yeah. Certainly they don't have Chow, but they also don't have Leinart, Bush, White or Mike Williams. Most USC fans have been quick to blame Kiffin and Booty, but Booty's struggles are to be expected, their running game was slow to come on and Jarrett was hurt for half the season. Of course who said USC fans are rational? :)
How has Kiffin's play calling been for USC? It's been getting better, it's helped that Chauncey Washington and CJ Gable have stepped up and given USC solid running backs. He started out too pass-happy, but that could be because Washington was banged up and they had a limited running game to start the season. I'd take Kiffin over Svoboda (UCLA's OC) any day of the week. I think I can do better play calling than Svoboda.
Man, USC is going to be so good next year. They're going to run the table next year, sucks that next year will probably be the most talented UCLA team since the late-90s teams.
http://www.licey.com/articulo.asp?did=5304 The team Alfonso would play on is the Estrellas Orientales (EO on the schedule). Cubs' catching prospect Jose Reyes is on the team.
