    And I really don't see how one can compare Andre Dawson and Greg Maddux's contribution with the Cubs to Sammy's. I hope time will heel wounds because #21 deserves to be retired as much as some of the other four numbers the Cubs have retired.

    Appearently. And with the monumental loss of Tank Johnson our team will simply fall to pieces, unable to even imagine winning a playoff game. Don't forget RMJ and Hester will be their starting corners in the playoffs will certainly help make the team fall to pieces. It's ok, I like that the team will be playing with a chip on their shoulder.

Do I really need to go around saying this all the time? Cut the guy a little slack, alright? I'm tired of this crap. Thanks Tim! It'd sure be nice if people actually responded to my comment, instead of resorting to child like teasing. Can I respond about your user name instead? I find it ironic that someone with your user name has an anti-Giles-on-Cubs stance. :P

    His blitzing has left a lot to be desired the past few years. If both Tank and Tommie are out, he really needs to do something (his blitzes are far too predicible).

    Yeesh, my power goes out at halftime and this is what happens in the second half? Hope this lights a fire in the team. Glad to see Grossman played strong in the second half. The secondary obviously misses Vasher. Meh. At least they have HFA throughout the playoffs.

    Exactly. And when it's all said and done, I believe the point will be moot. My guess is that Marquis won't mess with 21 and the Cubs eventually will retire it. I hope the Cubs will eventually retire the number, I'm afraid that too many bridges were burned.
