  1. That's the way to play your last home game. :) UCLA holds on and wins it 45-35, Drew Olson falls 5 yards shy of the all-time record. UCLA is now 9-1 with the battle for the city in 3 weeks.
  2. UCLA leads it 45-35. They got a FG, and on that drive, Olson underthrew a pass to Marcedes Lewis and the guy guarding Lewis caught it while jumping. While both were landing from the jump, Marcedes just took the ball out of the defensive players' hands. A spectacular play by Marcedes. I sure hope Jerry Angelo drafts him in the first round. Drew Olson is 22/27 with 5 TDs and 510 yards, 5 yards shy of the UCLA single-game passing record of 515 yards (by Cade McNown). Olson is 12/12 in the second half.
  3. ASU drives 85 yards after a Mo Drew fumble, it's now 42-35 UCLA with 7:14 left in the game. Derek Hagan is now the all-time leading receiver in the Pac 10.
  4. UCLA shuts a team out for a quarter!!! :o UCLA up 42-28 after three. Drew Olson is 18/23, 427 yards, 5 TDs. :)
  5. Derek Hagan, who's nearing the record for most catches by a Pac-10 WR all-time just fumbled for a second straight time. UCLA ball.
  6. UCLA up 35-28 with 4:12 to go in the third. The refs just had their third call overturned that turned into a TD. And ABC decided to not show the extra point kick, instead showing me a Ford Silverado commercial.
  7. 28-28 with :51 left in the half in Pasadena. :|
  8. Somehow I'm not shocked. :) I got beat posting on the Cal and Stanford wins, cuz I was whooping and hollering.
  9. UCLA with a turnover as they were getting the punt. The ball hit a blocker who was down who had run into Maurice Drew and ASU recovers at the 5. Ridiculous. Touchdown ASU, 28-21 UCLA.
  10. UCLA's 316 yards in the first quarter was 31 yards short of the all-time record set by UNLV.
  11. UCLA up 28-14 early in the second quarter. Maurice Drew gets in on 4th and goal at the 1.
  12. Why does ABC have a Big 10 football commercial in the middle of an ASU-UCLA game? 21-14 UCLA leads it with a little over 1 minute left in the first quarter. After 1 quarter, UCLA leads it 21-14. Drew Olson is 8/10 for 295 yards and 3 TDs.
  13. The refs at this game are pathetic. Marcedes Lewis catches a pass in the end zone and is pushed out of the end zone and they spotted it in on the 1. Wow. EDIT: They review the call, TD UCLA! 21-7 they lead it with 4:36 in the first quarter. Drew Olson is 5/7 for 229 yards and 3 TDs in the first quarter.
  14. ASU scores. UCLA's defense is bad enough, the refs don't need to help ASU. 14-7 with 6:18 to go in the first quarter.
  15. Spencer Havner intercepts the ball for UCLA but the Bruins get a bogus defensive holding call. Jamal Anderson (yes, the former Atlanta Falcon who's announcing) is ripping the refs.
  16. Smack him.
  17. LSU wins it 16-13.
  18. 14-0 UCLA on a 56-yard TD pass to backup RB Chris Markey, 9:52 left in the first quarter.
  19. ASU fumble!! My boy Spencer Havner recovers at the UCLA 20. That LSU-Alabama game isn't bad.
  20. Drew Olson goes to Joe Cowan for a 91-yard TD pass on the first play of the game! Olson breaks Cade McNown's record for most TD passes in a season (26). 7-0, UCLA.
  21. Senior day at Pasadena. Star middle linebacker Justin London out for the game for UCLA. :(
  22. Oklahoma State and Texas Tech are tied at 17 with about a minute left in regulation.
  23. USC leads it at half, 21-3 over the sister school. :( Just to note, I was there at Memorial Stadium at Berkeley the last time USC lost. That was a great day, USC lost and the Cubs clinched a playoff spot by winning a doubleheader against Pittsburgh. :)
  24. 21-3 USC. Cal isn't coming back unless Nate Longshore's broken ankle magically heals, Joe Ayoob is just lost at QB.
  25. Wow, Joe Ayoob is pathetic. I know he's Cal's backup and all, but he's played all season. You'd think he'd have figured out his throwing mechanics by now.
