Cal hits the opening shot of OT for 3, and then UCLA scores the last 12 to win the game 67-58. UCLA clinches a share of the Pac-10 title - Washington is 1 game behind and still has a chance to tie.
Oh my goodness. UCLA doesn't score the last 7 minutes of the first half and Cal goes on an 11-0 run to take a 31-20 lead at the half. We're going to lose the conference because these fools can't stop turning the ball over and playing like crap on offense.
Umm, apparently the Cal Golden Bears come out to Skee-lo's "I Wish." That's hilarious. I wish I was little bit taller, I wish I was a baller I wish I had a girl who looked good I would call her I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat and a '64 Impala
While I understand your frustration, it is impossible to say that they would have won the game with that shot.Maybe not but points are points and that should've been called. I refuse to blame the refs for these things though: - Un-clutch FT shooting by Gordon and Hinrich - Nocioni becoming brainless at the end of games - Skiles not drawing up a play for Gordon to get the ball right away (not off a stupid two-pass) - Flip Murray inexplicably shooting the best 3-pointer of his life when it comes late in the game down 2 to the Bulls You forgot the most important one. The Bulls inability to make about 10 layups today. That was pathetic.
While I understand your frustration, it is impossible to say that they would have won the game with that shot. Yes, that's why I carefully worded my statement to show that one doesn't know what would have happened if the refs had called the play correctly.
How does that make sense? Just because someone doesn't pick him up doesn't mean he's ready for a big league bench role. I don't see the big deal about him making the roster after 1 Cactus League game when he made the big leagues midseason last year. Greenberg and Theriot would provide something off the bench that Perez, Hairston, Grissom, Mabry and Restovich can't. And something the Cubs bench could definitely use. That's raw's point. And I agree.
Gotta agree with Jon, Snow wasn't set for a charge. Those 2-3 points look huge now with the Bulls coming back. I don't care if they blow one, call the rest of the game correctly, rather than making up for the blown calls.
Some games aren't on MLB.TV - based on comments in today's game thread, it sounds like today's wasn't. Tomorrow's game is. EDIT: Looking ahead through the month, it looks like all remaining ST games will be on MLB.TV.
