  10. don't catch it. leave. Let's not tell people to leave. Thanks.
  11. Tends to happen in game threads - people get caught up in the moment of the game.
  12. All in all, I'm still disappointed Pawelek hasn't made it to Peoria yet. Good for Taylor though.
  13. Yeah, I'm a big Nic Jackson fan too. He has only played in 14 games over the last two seasons, so I'm not sure how quickly he'll move back up.
  14. Sorry, I used the link Jon provided as I didn't have anything else to go with. It's definitely not the first time Jon has been wrong.

  17. T2E made a couple of posts in the June Amateur Draft forum on Monday in regards to LV Ware and Michael Brenly. Welcome, rookie!
  18. I think calling those who are pessimistic or disappointed "trolls" is uncalled for.
  19. Iowa: RHP Jae-Kuk Ryu (0-1, 3.71 ERA, 17 IP, 13/6) vs. LHP Renyel Pinto (1-0, 3.07 ERA) West Tenn: RHP Randy Wells (1-1, 1.54 ERA, 11.2 IP, 9/3) Daytona: RHP Matt Weber (0-2, 11.74 ERA, 7.2 IP, 5/4) @ LHP Matt Merricks (0-0, 0.00 ERA, 11 IP) Peoria: RHP Mitch Atkins (0-0, 1.80 ERA, 10 IP, 11/3) @ RHP Chris Nicoll (2005: 0-3, 3.62 ERA, 27.1 IP @ SS ball) Matt Weber is making his rotation debut in Daytona, he's taking Luke Hagerty's spot. The Ryu-Pinto matchup should be fun.
  20. Because Hendry has been known to make moves when we need help? Ramirez, Lofton, Simon, Karros, Nomar...ring any bells? I don't doubt that Hendry is going to make a deal. Plus, he doesn't make the lineups, so don't assume that he is content with Neifi starting at 2B every day. I have full faith in Hendry. It's the man wearing the #12 that I worry about, but if Hendry gives him better players than Neifi, I'm not that worried. Hendry is deliberate and slow when it comes to trade - how long did it take to get a 3B in 03? A SS in 04 (even with Alex Gonzalez injured)? He didn't get a SS when Nomar got hurt last season.
  21. So who gets called up from the minors? Dope is hurt and Sing is not on the 40-man roster. Theriot or Pie come to mind. I hope it's not Felix.
  22. You don't think they would do it for Prior and Pie? Thats not a crazy move, the major league team loses only the potential of what those two could do. They could both fail to meet expectations too. Dunn or Cabrera are consistent and healthy offensive forces. This team would have the best offense in the NL when Lee comes back. But the Cubs wouldn't trade Prior and Pie for Dunn.
  23. I don't have to fly out there. In fact, I am willing to bet I know what 4-block radius of Pasadena Furcal lives in (since all the non-full-time LA resident Dodgers live in Old Town Pasadena).
  24. Try him in LF with Murton in RF. People who have seen the Royals play can correct me, but I had the feeling that Sweeney was on his way to DHing, let alone moving to a more rigorous defensive position than first base.
  25. How dare you come back after we banned you?
