  1. On the Peoria broadcast, they mentioned that Nancy Cartwright is from Dayton. Didn't know that. Kettering to be exact. Why were they talking about Nancy Cartwright? The game was in Dayton, so Nathan Baliva was mentioning all the famous Daytonians. You should check out the Chiefs sometime when they're in town - Donnie Veal pitches on Thursday. Believe it or not, Dayton Dragons tickets are really hard to get. Amusing since Nathan was just mentioning how few people they were at the game (might be because of the temps).
  2. eat crow. ? Who's to say Barrett might not have done something more productive? And telling someone to eat crow is extremely lame.

  4. Go to your room and whip yourself with a belt 50 times. there goes the no no...You should no better than that Rocket does this everytime there's a no-no.

  6. 4-0 Dayton on an error by Brandon Taylor which allows a run to score. They've now changed it to an RBI and a basehit, Yepez is now charged with his 3rd earned run of the game. Yepez through 5 IP: 4 R (3 ER), 7 H, 2/2, 3 WP
  7. Peoria down 3-0 after 4. Yepez has surrendered 2 ER out of those 3 runs.
  8. Do the Cubs need another second baseman? In a Rick Monday thread? Rick threw the first pitch at Sunday's Diamondbacks-Dodgers game, they showed the video on the jumbotron then.
  9. From BA's early look at the 2007 draft class:
  10. Doesn't make any sense for Hill not to be part of the ML Cubs at this point. How he didn't get the nod over Guzman (pushed 1 day back instead of 3), I'll never know. I wonder if Guzman is up as a "show-me" in a trade scenario. Probably not. He's up there because of his potential. I wish it was Hill instead, I don't think Gooz is ready.
  11. Why is he unable to do that in the majors? who says he can't? he had more good innings than bad when he was up last year. Consistancy is the issue I guess. and sample size. And more negroes. Awesome. Haha.
  12. I actually provided Slugger with the starters since she didn't know who would be starting. So, you're welcome. Oh, and Champion Broadband is the champion of sucky Internet connections. And kudos to Raisin for finding a computer in the office that doesn't block NSBB.
  13. Yeah, I failed to take into account last night's rain out. My bad. He starts tomorrow.
  14. Daytona and Jupiter are tied at 5 in extras. Jupiter scored 1 in the 9th to tie it up and each team scored once in the 10th. All other boxes are posted!
  15. Drafted out of Baylor. Here are his stats at Baylor and the minors last season.
  16. Geez, promote Guzman so he can throw long relief? Wow. Hill must have been in on whatever Hairston did to Dusty.
